The Greasy Spoon

 

Hi Natty!  Hi Honey!  How are you?  Are you enjoying the holiday season?  Did you get all your shopping done?  Or do you have to work through Christmas?  I hope you feeling great my love, and having a wonderful time.  Please keep safe and guard your health.  I love you!  I'm munching on a curry pup right now.  Which means I cut the grass in the evening.  I usually have curry pups whenever I cut the grass, so I can have dinner while sitting in front of the computer.  I put a little bit of the fish head curry that I got for lunch in there, it makes the curry pup creamy.  I get my fish head curry from Embun's restaurant at the crossroads.  It's not a greasy spoon, the patrons there usually eat with their hands.  I ate my rice with a spoon, though.  It wasn't that greasy.

I love Don Martin's work!  I know that expression on the face of the cook, that's the expression I always wore when I worked at a restaurant.  They call it the "hospitality business" lol...  I had such a rotten attitude.  I'm grateful to be out of there, and I'm grateful for the knowledge I acquired.  Praise the Lord!  Alhamdulillah!  Don Martin did his best stuff with comic strips like above.  I didn't enjoy it so much when they animated it.

Tuesday

 Hi Natty!  What's going on?  I'm sure you're busy with the holidays and such.  For that, I guess you must be back in Vancouver or something, preparing another holiday extravaganza for your loving fans.  Please don't give me another heart attack like you did last year.  Pretty please?  Everyday is the holiday season for me around here.  Which means I have to work everyday.  Today is Tuesday!  I had fried rice for dinner today.  For the fond, I used chopped garlic, cauliflower stems and galangal.  I starting to use galangal for almost everything.  But this time, I didn't sprinkle any anchovy bouillon over the rice for flavor.  I had an extra packet of ramen seasoning lying around, so I used that.  Tom yam flavor.  Jane Rambo is spending more time in the crib with her mother and the kittens!  I think it's sweet.  She gives her mother kisses, and plays with the babies.

Hi Natty!  How are you?  Are you enjoying yourself?  I hope you are.  With all the fun and games, please make sure you keep safe and stay healthy.  I was able to make my way downtown in the morning to so some shopping.  The weather is so comfortable.  Years ago when my air conditioner broke down, I thought that I would suffer a lot.  But God turned the whole area into an air conditioned room.  Glory to Allah.  I sure feel sleepy, though.

The kittens are doing well alhamdulillah, and all of them have opened their eyes.  They don't hiss and spit at me anymore, which is nice.  However, Helmut is now a female and Anna is now a male.  Sure maybe I made a mistake, but I double and triple checked their gender before I published their names.  Do they have a pee pee and nut sack that pops in and out like a push on switch?  Whatever, I can play this game.  Helmut is now Anna, and Anna is now Helmut.  There.

How to use toilet paper

 

Hi Natty!  How are today, Honey?  Proud and distinguished to be you, I hope.  You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  I'm doing OK over here.  I had a choice between sardine rolls or pasta with steak for dinner, so I asked Adolf to make the choice for me.  He pointed his nose towards the can of sardines, of course.  But it's cold today, so I had to overrule him and cook spaghetti with steak in marinara sauce.  He didn't complain, though.  He loves pasta.

I've noticed that fungus has been stronger lately, and I advise the locals to start using toilet paper instead of washing with water.  No one's going to listen to me, of course.  Humans prefer medication over prevention.  Perhaps the Minister of Health can make it mandatory to use toilet paper, then have the cops make sure that everyone is wiping their butts, and set up roadblocks with barbed wire and such.  Let's face it, viruses have a more powerful media presence than fungus.  I'm being serious, folks.  Fungus is very scary!  But no one will take my advice on this, even if their pee pees fell off.
