Mango sauce

Yes Honey, I'm smiling!  I'm smiling!  Look at me, can't you see that I'm smiling?!!!

That extra toothpaste can't be too bad for you.  Makes you cleaner!  I ate too much today.  I usually have a modest lunch, like a bowl of ramen.  But today I cooked a pot of rice to go with spicy eggplant and fried eggs, and I ate the whole lot.  I don't know why I cooked so much.  I made a big dinner, too.  I turned a whole kilo of potatoes into home fries to go with my chicken tenders.  I didn't eat the whole lot this time, I got stuffed quickly.  I can turn the home fries into curry pup stuffing, no problem.  And I gave some of the chicken tenders to the cats.  Yeah, they ate high on the hog tonight!  Well, chicken tenders.  Lookie doesn't fight for her snacks anymore, so I threw Lily's and Adolf's share to the far reaches of the house while I gave Lookie her piece.  But Adolf Kitler came scrambling back still chewing his piece of chicken, that he had to spit it out so he could steal Lookie's snack.  No big deal, she just ate the rest of Adolf's chicken.  Adolf, don't be a Nazi!
Harumanis mangoes are pretty tasty.  I happened to have a few early fruit, so I thought I would experiment with them.  My sweet mango pickle was a failure.  It turned into moonshine, so I had to chuck the whole lot away.  Today I made a spicy mango sauce.  I remember back in Tempe, there was this hot sauce store on Mill Avenue that had a great spicy mango sauce, so I thought I would try to make something like that.  I kept it simple, just mangoes, rehydrated chillies, and some sugar.  It was OK, it wasn't a failure, but it's not as great as my bitter bean hot sauce.  It didn't really go with the fries, but it went better with the chicken tenders.
