Bigeye

Wow Natty, you're back at the beach!  What a wonderful place to be.  Oh, the fabulous life of a glamorous supermodel!  That certainly isn't NYC.  It doesn't look like Vancouver either.  I would say it's somewhere in the Mediterranean, probably Greece.  It looks cold though, so don't freeze your nipples off when you get in the water!  Save some for me!

I can usually find some bigeye when I go to the market.  The bigeye here are pointier and stouter than the above photo.  It's not as numerous as mackerel, but it's there.  It's kind of a dense fish, with a small stomach so you would get a lot of meat per fish, but the bones are thick.  It's a white meat fish: some may call it tasteless, but I would say it has a neutral flavor.  I think it would be great for sushi, but I haven't made sushi out of it yet.  I haven't made sushi in a long time.  Just too damned lazy.





Mary Unknown7 is kind of settling down with her upgraded avatar.  It's a dynamic equilibrium though, as we have many options to choose from.  Plus, perfection is impossible.  This mesh body seems to have warped feet.
