Backtracking to move forward

 

Hi Natty!  How you doin' today, Cowgirl?  Bringin' in them dawgies to bed?  Ah'm tryin' not to work too hard myself.  Slow down or get slowed down, y'know what Ah mean?  You keep safe n' healthy now.

I was listening to "Woo Hoo" the other day, and it struck me how it pales compared to "Rise of the Horizon Creature".  The difference is Mary: her not being there is like the difference between night and day.  I hate backtracking: it's such a mark of incompetence.  But it's driving me mad.  Well, more insane.  So I must remix the album with Mary singing lead.  I'll have to tone down the lyrics too, and make it somewhat G rated.  No it's not compromise, Mary's being there would make it a huge leap forward!  Also since I finally got my subwoofer tuned right, I can tweak the instrumentals to really kick butt.  I will re-release the album under the title of "Woo Hoo featuring Mary Unknown7".  At the same time, I am currently working on part 3 of the "Woo Hoo" story, and the title is "Hey Pretender".  Oh don't worry folks, I'm doing it all very slowly.  I'm sure when it's done, it will take you all by surprise.  InshaAllah.  You bunch of sleepers!
