Peanut butter

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  Is everything ship-shape, Sailor?  I'm doing OK over here, just longing for you as usual.  I went to the Chinese grocery store the other day to get a pack of my favorite fried peanuts.  The usual brand I buy was sold out, but there was another brand that was more expensive and well-packaged.  The peanuts were tightly vacuum-packed and that's the key to buying cooked peanuts, is that the vacuum pack isn't compromised.  However, the peanuts didn't taste good.  It didn't taste bad, and it didn't even taste neutral.  Which may seem strange, but this is my palate and my blog.  I'm not going to eat all those peanuts as is, but I can't throw them away either.  So I decided to turn them into peanut butter.  I don't have a food processor, but I do have a blender/grinder.  I had to grind the peanuts up before putting them into the blender.  I added some real butter in there, in the hope that it would help move the mix and add flavor.  I guess I should have melted the butter first.  In the end, I had to add palm oil to get the mass to move in the blender.  The end result was a success, plus I know for certain that it has no sugar.  I'm pretty sure you love peanut butter, and there are even the brands you are used to available here possibly.  But I can safely claim that the home made stuff is better.  It's strange how sweet the peanut butter is over the peanuts it was made from.
