In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
77. Haven't you turned your vision to those who were told to restrain their hands, but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! A section of them feared humans as, or even more than, they should have feared Allah. They said, "Our Lord! Why have You ordered us to fight? Would You not grant us respite to our term, soon?" Say, "Short is the enjoyment of this world. The hereafter is the best for those who do right: never will you be dealt with unjustly in the very least!"
78. Wherever you are, death will find you out, even if you are in towers built up strong and high! If some good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah." But if evil, they say, "This is from you." Say, "All things are from Allah." But what has come to these people that they fail to understand a single fact?

Shadows
Hi Natty! How are you feeling, my darling? I hope you are having a fabulous time. Don't forget who you are: you are MY girl, and I love you. We will be married, inshaAllah.
This blog is the closest thing that people will get to my autobiography. I'm sure I would tell more of myself to my wife, but I am not married yet. She probably might think it's just the ramblings of a senile old person. I was looking at my first and second post just now. I was about a month and a half away from being homeless! I knew back then that my eviction was inevitable, the banners were a last ditch attempt to make money. I had managed to finish the drum tracks for "Woo Hoo", which took me 10 years to complete. Yeah not only did I become homeless, I had to leave the country. Anyway, I started the band in 1990. At first I wanted to call it "White Man Speak With Forked Tongue" but the rest of the band didn't like it, so we opened up the dictionary and searched for a word then came up with "Shadowplay". Since then there were many changes in the band roster, and I managed to keep the band together (in shadow form at times) up until André died in 2002, then I was on my own. Needless to say, no former band member could know what happened to me if they had left the band. And would they have left the band if they knew that Shadowplay would be successful? Well, I am NOT successful. I have no money. I can't afford to marry. I could get evicted at any given moment. Allah is The One who has kept the music (and me) alive.
It's time for you to watch another movie, Natty dearest! Yeah I know you are super busy, but this one is an important movie. Many film critics regard this movie as the greatest movie ever. I like this movie too. Citizen Kane (1941).
