In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
22. Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged.
23. Then seest thou such a one that takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has knowingly left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then, will guide him after Allah? Will you not then receive admonition?
24. And they say, "What is there but the life of this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture.
25. And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, their argument is nothing but this: they say, "Bring our forefathers, if what you say is true!"
26. Say, "It is Allah who gives you life, then gives you death. Then God will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt." But most men do not understand.
The kneeling down 45:22-26
------------------------------------------------------------------
It is Allah who gives you life, then gives you death. Then God will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt.
Desire. All religions seem to address the concept of desire. Even atheism, as a religion, recognizes desire. Desire can itself be a religion for some people, if all they care about is their desire. Desire becomes all-consuming, it influences all their judgments and decisions. Their goal in life is to let their desires run wild and free.
That is the intent of God, is to leave these people clueless to everything else, and increase in transgressions until their transgressions pile up, and become monsters. When the consequences of their actions catch up to them, these consequences will be the size of monsters.
"What consequences?" some say. "What if I die first?" Again, humans have no grasp of time. Maybe 70 years of human life, humans has no evidence that their lives are over, when compared to millions of years. But most people want something NOW. So how can these people ever understand consequences?
