Hi Honey! How's it going today? How was work? I hope everything is going well, and you are feeling great, because I love you so much. It's about 7 pm here right now, I'm sitting here writing this letter, and waiting to break fast in about half an hour. It's been an active day: Sunday is usually busy for me. I clean my mother's bedroom in the morning plus my other chores. In the evening, I cut the grass by the rice paddy in front of your house inshaAllah. I can only do short periods of yard work right now, because I have to cook my dinner. So I have all my food ready: I break fast with plain water ( I don't like dates), and my Mom gave me some sweet cakes. I bought some grated ice from the one of the stalls at the crossroads, and I have that in the freezer. The main course is BBQ chicken chow mein. Fried noodles comes like clockwork to me. First you have to make the fond, or sauce. I start off with frying chopped garlic, I have some blended onions and chillies, so I added that next. Then I have some leftover BBQ sauce from my BBQ chicken a few days ago. Heavenly stuff. Alhamdulillah. So I put that in there. Then chicken broth, let it all bubble up in the heat of the wok, put the cooked chicken meat in, then the noodles go in. This brand of noodles are bitter, so you have to cook it to death. It's already pretty thick, but I mix in an egg to make it thicker. When that's done, I turn off the fire, and throw in the scallions. Yummy! Want some?
Hey Natty Honey! Are you busy, my darling? Oh you poor, beautiful girl! Don't you worry love, everything is going to turn out just great inshaAllah. Are you hungry? Are you hungry? Are you? Well I don't have a salad, but something better: BBQ chicken chow mein! You would be hard pressed to find this at any restaurant, no matter how posh it may be. Come and join me for dinner! Family only!
