Fried banana fritters

 

Hi Natty Honey!  How are you? Oh it's so exciting being you nowadays, huh supermodel?  That's because you're so beautiful, and I love you with all of my heart.  Please make sure you keep yourself safe and healthy OK!  Oh, there's not much going on over here other than the same old stuff.  I went and picked up my mother's prescription this morning, then I finally got around to making my ramen with the beef broth I brewed up a couple of days ago.  My ramen was OK, it came out mild but that's because I made extra care not to over-salt it.  It was also too busy, I guess I don't need fish cake and seaweed with beef broth.  Humph.  I've become so used to using fish, I guess I forgot that beef is a different animal.

I had spaghetti planned for dinner, then my Mom bugged me to get her some fried bananas.  I don't usually eat the stuff.  I don't dislike it but I can live without it, you know what I mean?  So any old recipe is the same for me, as you can see the video above.  But my mother lives and breathes the stuff.  She used to make it herself but the kitchen has taken its toll on her (that I can relate to), so I went to buy it for her from a hawker down the street west.  It turned out that I really liked it, so I went back and bought a bag for myself.  It was greasy and crispy.  I've tried fried bananas countless of times, but this one had that magic touch.  Otherwise I wouldn't have stuffed myself with it so much, that I had to cancel  my spaghetti dinner.  Even the cats liked it.  I was so full, it felt like I ate too much pizza.  Grease is gold!  I'm sorry if you had plans to come over and share my spaghetti with me.  Spaghetti for dinner tomorrow night, inshaAllah.  I would love to have you join me for dinner.
