Let's invite the habitual liar onto a TV show with a huge audience, where he is asked a series of "yes" or "no" questions. The twist here is that yes means no, and no means yes. The game show host would say, "Aw come on dude, it's just a game! Everybody knows how innocent you are!" It's a simple concept: the habitual liar has to maintain his lies within the context of the show in order to save face. For example:
Q: Have you ever committed murder?
A: Yes.
Q: Have you ever embezzled or misappropriated funds?
A: Yes.
Q: So you confess to doing the acts of murder and embezzlement?
A: Yes.
