Ginger

 Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope you are healthy and enjoying yourself.  It's Wednesday here, and it started out a bit wet but it soon got hot again.  I like it better when it's cold.  I bought a bunch of ginger yesterday, I thought I would experiment with it a little.  Ginger is costlier than I remember, so I planted some in a pot.  That will take a few months, but they are able to grow around here.  I wanted to make ginger chicken, so for the fond I chopped up a lot of ginger with some garlic, browned it up, then added the chicken.  I made it too salty though, but with white rice it balanced out.  I figure I don't even need it to balance out, just cut out some salt and everything would turn out on the sweet side.  Next time, perhaps.  You want to try some ginger chicken on rice?
