Hi Natty! How are you, Honey? I'm sure you are keeping busy. Ride that Crazy Carousel! Please keep safe and healthy OK! It's been a busy day for me, even though I didn't anticipate it. The evening was slammed, so I didn't have much time to cook. The night market at the crossroads is there tonight, but I'm a poor man and I didn't want to pay for the expensive slop that they have there. I might as well make my own slop, you know what I mean? But I had to cook quickly, so this was what I came up with. I had dough in the cooler, so I made pita bread. Then I blended onions and lentils, and fried those up. Add a small box of coconut milk and a mini pack of kurma spice, plus a leftover seasoning packet for chicken ramen and we have a dip. Top it off with dried shallots, sesame seeds and chunks of fried chicken breast, and there we go. Not bad for half and hour. The dip was a bit sweet, but it wasn't a failure. I could have browned the lentils more, but oh well. Do you think the kids would eat it, Honey?
