God sure puts on a great show!
The Beatles couldn't have been all that good when they started out in Hamburg. Even after playing live together every night, the songwriting wasn't that great. No wonder the Germans told them to "Mach Schau". You have the reputation of good music, so you attract musicians and music lovers. As long as you keep making great music, you don't need to "Mach Schau". InshaAllah. And Mary's job is to make them sleep or cry.
Otherwise we see other acts do whatever they can not to bore the audience. The rule to spectacle is to kick ass. Humans like to get their asses kicked. They won't admit it, but so be it. And God is the Best at kicking ass.
