Meat pies

 Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope everything is going well for you.  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart, and I think of you always.  There's not much going on over here other than the usual.  I've had a serious craving for meat pies lately, so I've been collecting stuff for that project.  I didn't get any pastry dough though, I would have to go downtown for that but I'm too lazy to go.  Instead, I just use my regular dough recipe.  I don't have a good oven, so I cook foods that need to be cooked all over by deep frying.  At length, my meat pies look like curry pups.  But they're not curry pups, they are meat pies and taste like meat pies.  So I wouldn't give any of my meat pies to my parents, because they would call them curry pups, because they look like curry pups.  One day perhaps, I'll cook meat pies in that nice round shape with pastry dough but not today.


Miso rules my cooking right now, and I've become seriously hooked on it.  So my pie stuffing is ground beef, anchovy miso, potatoes, carrots, red hot chilli peppers, brown gravy powder and "halba campur" (mixed whole spices).

I love whole spice blend instead of powder, for a more intense flavor punch.  Would you like a meat pie?
