Please keep yourself safe and healthy in the meanwhile. I had to go out in the morning to buy fruit and chicken this morning. That's a mangosteen in the picture. At first I wanted lychees, but they said the lychees didn't arrive. Later I read in the news that there was a dog eating festival going on right now somewhere in China, where they eat dog with lychees. OK then. No thanks, I don't want any. I bought mangosteens instead. I don't eat a lot of fruit, it usually gives me the runs. I like mangosteens regardless, but I have had a hard time trying to grow a tree of my own. So I'm going to give it another try. I hear this fruit tree is slow growing, but maybe God will be kind enough to make an exception in my case.
I didn't buy a chicken, I bought boneless chicken breast. But I didn't have that for lunch, I made ramen instead. I thought I would use a white bowl instead of my usual pink bowl so it would photograph better, and it does. You can even see the ramen brick at the bottom of the bowl. Want some?
