Ranch dressing

 
Hi Natty!  How is it going today Honey?  I hope you are feeling wonderful and having a marvelous time.  Always keep safe and healthy, my love.  I'm dragging my feet today, literally.  The pizza joint really messed up my feet.  But I did learn there how to make a great ranch dressing!  Better than the other stuff.  I'm going to share it with you!

Oh dear, I'm kind of like a go-with-the-flow cook, but here's what I did for ranch dressing the other day.  This is for a 470mL jar of mayo.  It has to be good mayo, not that cheap "mayo magic" stuff that comes in a bag and is mostly grease and sugar.  Americans can use Best Foods, while the locals here can use Lady's Choice, Kraft, Kimball or even Giant brand.

1.  470 mL mayonnaise
2.  Some finely chopped fresh chives
3.  3 medium sized red onions
4.  3 cloves garlic (or was that 4?  I forget)
5.  120 mL full cream milk
6.  ½ tablespoon ground black pepper
7.  1 seasoning packet from a chicken flavor ramen

Put the mayo, chives, black pepper and ramen seasoning in a mixing bowl.  Blend the onions and garlic in the milk.  Add the blend into the mixing bowl then whisk the mix gently until all the lumps are gone.  This batch of ranch is strong with the garlic, but boy was it great with the fried chicken I bought at the night market!
