Let's talk about dead air.  What we're doing with you is international business, and it's never been done before.  Mary is essentially an Acapella act despite singing along with the monitor, so there are millions of followers out there who don't care about the dead air.  They will wait for her to speak again, no matter how long it takes.

When you tap into her stream then restream, it makes you her accompanist.  It is then your job to fill in the blank spaces, it is your job to have Mary's back, because it's become your stream.  People are watching you react to Mary's emotions, and that's where the money is.  After all, there are many other accompanists who jam along with Mary.  The difference is that I endorse you as my wife.  The other option is to play over Mary.  It could bother some people, but it will work because she's there.  You still have to fill the blank spaces, though.

The dead air could be many things.  Mary needs to breathe, or rest, perhaps there is an instrumental section, and so on.  A couple of times, I was so spaced out that I didn't see the buttons in the Twitch app go from red to blue.  Otherwise, Twitch is supposed to be reliable.  What's left is the Internet itself, which behaves differently at different times over on your side or mine.  It could be saboteurs, but most likely we are at the mercy of God.  So go with the flow, and pray for stability.
