ANNOUNCEMENT! Mary Unknown7 is taking the day off tomorrow

 Natty, you're so pretty!  You can sure cheer up a dismal city street.  Do you have a car?  Is it that shiny white car?  Please drive carefully, and take sweet loving care of yourself because I love you so much.  I don't have a car.  When the money comes to me and I am able to marry inshaAllah, the first things to pay for is to secure this land so I can build a house.  If I failed to secure this land then that means I have to move out of this village in order to get married.  Canada sure sounds good.  No more tropical swelter.  After that, I get the ring.  Then maybe after the ring, I can get a car.  I can't get the car before the ring.  My girl will hate me.

I have an announcement to make, folks!  I gave Mary Unknown7 the day off tomorrow.  I have to take my mother to the hospital.  InshaAllah, she will be back to sing for you on Wednesday night 11 pm PST.  And here is that entire Mr. Bean episode for you folks who haven't seen it yet.  Now don't go reading spiritual innuendos into it, it's just a comedy skit.  I don't even have a car.

Hi Natty!

 

How are you, Honey?  I hope you are having tons of fun and keeping safe and healthy.  I love you!  I'm just sitting here waiting for them to call the sunset prayer so I can drink my iced tea and eat my mangoes.  I'm having ramen tonight for dinner.  I love ramen!  I usually have ramen for lunch, but I miss it so much I have to have it for dinner.  So I'm just sitting here wasting time, watching TV.  Oh did you see Billie Eilish on the cover of Voggooey magazine?  Isn't she supposed to be 19 years old?  She looks older.  No Billie, you can't do whatever you want. No one can.  Want is a pretty strong word, too.  What if you didn't want anything?  I want my Natty!

Just another average day

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, my love?  I hope you are feeling good, and having a great time.  How's the food over there?  You can't live off coffee only, you know!  Oh, coffee smoothie?  I don't know about that.  I think coffee and tofu would make a good blend.  Anyway, it's just another average day over here for me.  It's Sunday, and I clean my mother's bedroom every Sunday morning.  I just got done cooking my dinner.  There are countless of street vendors out there every Ramadan, selling food for breaking fast.  It's a money machine.  But nobody is selling what I want: "nasi lemak bilis telur".  Rice steamed in coconut milk with crunchy anchovies, egg and "sambal tumis" (blended onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp paste") fried in oil until saturated).  So I had to make it myself.  I didn't have any coconut milk for the "lemak" part of the dish, but whatever.  I didn't want to spend any money today.  And I don't want to eat anything else, either.  I don't have an endorsement budget, people!  And God taught me how to cook, so I made the dish myself.  Here's the irony, Natty: it's a common everyday dish except during Ramadan.  No one sells it.

A cat romance

 

Hi Natty!  That looks like a nice place.  You're life is a beach, huh?  Say hi to your Dad for me, and please try to stay away from drugs and alcohol.  Oh I'm just sitting here writing a letter to my Sweetie, and waiting for sunset so I can break my fast.  I have noodles on the menu today, made with broth that came from my latest batch of roast/pulled beef.  I haven't tasted it yet, I don't know if it will be successful.  Back at the pizza joint, the place was saturated with pig so I didn't taste any of the stuff I cooked for people.  I just guessed.  Same thing today.

With Lily gone to heaven, what's left here on earth with me is a cat romance!  Featuring Lookie:

Lily and Bro

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope you are well, and enjoying yourself.  Lily passed away today right after Mary Unknown7 finished her set.  As far as I recall, Yoolie passed away at the same time of day.  I was prepared to take care of Lily as an invalid cat.  I had some aquarium tubing to feed her fish and rice smoothies, and I went to the pharmacy and bought more puke control pills.  But Allah was merciful, and didn't allow her to suffer as an invalid.  My perspective is I couldn't bury her while she was still alive, so it meant I had to fight for what was left of her life.  I don't do euthanasia.

Today is exactly one year since Lily and her brother Bro aka Adolf Kitler came into my family.  Adolf belongs in the "Life Goes On" club.
