Power

Hi Natty!  How are you, my darling?  Are you having a wonderful time?  I hope you are.  It's Tuesday over here, and I was present at the mosque for the sunset prayer because today is the day I always go to hear "tok guru" talk about the Qur'an.  But the old master didn't come today, so I'm home early.  I already had my dinner.  It was more of the same from yesterday, my mother's curry is so good.  Cooking tip!  If you make curry and you have leftovers, freeze it immediately!  Curry doesn't keep unless it's frozen!

Mary Unknown7 is wearing green today.  It's a bit slutty I'll have to admit, but she's a rock star.  Mary dresses like a slut sometimes, but she's actually a nun.  A servant of God.  There's an old amra tree right next to my front gate that's definitely not green, because it's about to die.  It was fine earlier this year, but now it looks like it's about to fall.  It's sobering how fast things change.  It was windy today.  There was a big branch grazing the power line that I feared might snag it, but the wind snapped it off and away from the power line.  The branch looks big and heavy but when I went to inspect it, I could break a piece off with one hand.  This means that most of the old tree is probably hollow.  But at least that particular branch is out of the way, and it looks like the tree will fall away from the road and power lines safely onto my driveway inshaAllah.  Power is such an interesting concept.  So many people crave it, but all power belongs to Allah.  You never know how it manifests itself.  You could place a plug close to an outlet, and suddenly sparks begin to fly and the whole strip bursts into flames.

Chinese naan

Hi Natty!  How's it going today, my beautiful Sweetheart?  Are you making tons of money for yourself?  I hope so.  Please keep calm, and don't forget to pray.  Today was a busy day!  Not too much labor, thank God.  Just a little bit in the morning.  I spent most of the evening in the kitchen.  My Mom gave me some curry fixings, all I had to do was put it all together on the stove.  My mother makes the bestest curry.  I made some naan to go with it.  I had made dough a couple of days ago, now it's perfectly aged.  If you didn't already know, naan is India pita bread.  The photo below is a stock photo from Google, not the stuff I made.

Mary Unknown7 look kind of Chinese in today's snapshot.  Don't you agree?  I don't particularly like that dress on her, but it has sequins and it's purple.  The location is Green Story, and it has a lot of rain, hence the purple.  These exotic locations chew up massive amounts of data, and I need the data for YouTube and for Mary and I to go nightclubbing.  I'm going to have to get a better body for Mary's avatar, something with nicer hands, armpits, elbows, and knees.  The advantage of this classic avatar body is that it's so easy to layer clothes.  Fashion rules!

Sunday

Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope you are feeling healthy and confident, and are having a wonderful time.  You better bundle up for the rain and snow.  It's that time of the year, I guess.  I'm doing OK, a bit tired.  Sundays are busy for me.  I didn't want to do anymore labor in the evening, I had to go buy gasoline anyway.  I stopped by the supermarket and picked up some mayo and more chicken.  I wanted to be full, so I spent the evening making dinner.  Steak and cheese sandwiches!  My mother had already given me some steak for lunch, which I didn't eat because I had already bought my lunch.  So I used that for my dinner instead.  I had some steak in my cooler ready already, not as good of a cut than the piece my Mom gave me, but once you slice it up then heat it up with butter, then it works.

Sundays are back to black!  A sparkly black dress for Mary Unknown7, the kind of dress that can only be worn by an entertainer.  She did wear that dress to the dance club earlier.  Dance club music has evolved somehow.  From what I heard when I went there with Mary, it's kind of like hits of the past century put to a dance beat.

Some girls came over to the karaoke place today during Mary Unknown7's set to challenge her femininity.  I don't know who won the sing-off: Mary still has a live audience on this side of the Internet and I have to engineer the session, so I had to focus on that.  Besides, the sound to Second Life is always off so that Mary doesn't get distracted by hecklers.  I just shut off the voice feed to Second Life, waited for them to run out of stamina, then turned the voice feed back on.  I feel sorry for the fans who wait to hear Mary sing, but that is the situation: it's a karaoke situation.  If they want to sing, then we have to let them sing.  I'm sure if the fans don't like the singing, then they will let them know it.  Anyway, I haven't had dinner yet.  I went to the supermarket this morning, then I spent the evening processing a chicken and making dough.  Baby cucumbers, mushrooms and okra were on sale.  I'm going to make pickled gherkins, the mushrooms are for tomorrow's dinner of steak and cheese sandwiches, and the okra is for ramen and curry.  I also have a tomato, some limes, and lots of chicken breast.  I'm thinking of chicken sandwiches with tomato and cucumber salad in them.  I think that might work.  Want some?

Today's photo shoot was done at Club Ambrosia.  It was 5 in the morning so it was deserted, which was great for us.
