Bread

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  How's business?  Are you making gobs and gobs of money?  Are you getting the big chunks of fat and gristle to chew on?  Please chew thoroughly!  You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  Let's stick together, and I will take care of you InshaAllah.  Are you still hungry?  I cooked up a loaf of bread in a frying pan to go with my chicken curry.  The bread is just flour, yeast, palm oil, salt and water.  I took some snapshots below.  I don't have a proper bread knife, so I broke the bread with my hands.  Looks more barbaric, don't you agree?  Oh my God, I'm stuffed.  Alhamdulillah.

 In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

14.  The Arabs say, "We believe."  Say, "You have no faith, but you say, 'We have submitted our wills to God,' for not yet has faith entered your hearts.  But if you obey Allah and God's messenger, God will not belittle aught of your deeds, for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

15.  Only those are believers who have believed in Allah and God's messenger and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: such are the sincere ones.

16.  Say, "What!  Will you instruct Allah about your religion?  But Allah knows all that is in the heavens and on earth: God has Full Knowledge of all things."

17.  They impress on you as a favor that they have embraced Islam.  Say, "Count not your Islam as a favor upon me.  No, Allah has conferred a favor upon you, that God has guided you to the faith, if you be true and sincere."

18.  Verily Allah Knows the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and Allah sees well all that you do.

Ketchup

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  Were you waiting for me?  I'm waiting for you!  I just got back from the mosque, after having dinner.  Did you want some?  Oh you're not a tater tots girl, huh.  Too school lunchey?  I never had tater tots at school lunch, I discovered them in the frozen foods aisle when I was in my 20s.  That's probably why I like them.  But I made fries today, I think you would have liked them.  I'm in a ketchup mood, and I have lots of ketchup.  Maybe it's time to make BBQ sauce for BBQ chicken, I haven't had that in a while.  BBQ makes me bloat, that's probably why.  Lunch was sardine rolls, and I had that with ketchup.  Heinz is expensive, the stuff I bought in a bag is the closest in flavor to Heinz and I get twice as much.  Sardine rolls go best with the sauce that's in the sardine can, but I didn't have that much.  Or ranch dressing.  Oh dear, it's time to go grocery shopping again.  You keep safe and healthy now, Natty my darling.  I love you!

Cats need other cats

 

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling, Honey?  Are you enjoying your ride on the Crazy Carousel?  I want to ride your horsey with you!  I hope you are having lots of fun over there.  Please keep safe and healthy.  Lookie is looking so good now!  She turns 10 years old in August.  She still has tons of energy, though.  I had to take some snapshots before she might start to lick her fur off again.  Lookie is a nervous kitty.  Her mother was a bully.  She spent her entire life inside this house, then 2 years ago I took Adolf in as an abandoned kitten.  He grew up and became her mate, and this year she had her first 2 batches of kittens.  I knew those kittens would do wonders for her, now she has a full coat of fur!  Looking good, Sweetie!  Strange thing is that Jane, her first kitten, looks like a darker version of Lookie's mother.  They don't get along.  That's cat politics for you.  Cats need other cats.
