Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope you are feeling great, and having a marvelous time.  Please keep safe and healthy OK!  I couldn't sleep last night for whatever reason.  It was very hot and humid, with many bugs.  Even when it got cooler and the bugs went away, I still couldn't sleep.  So I was kind of cranky in the evening.  I think I'll turn in early tonight, maybe that will help.  My Kingdom Rush game improved markedly, though.  I don't know why...

Sunday

 Hi Natty!  Hi Honey!  Are you excited to see me?  I'm always happy to have you, because I love you.  I hope you're having a fabulous time over there, and keeping safe and healthy.  It's Sunday over here.  I did labor all day, and there's certainly nothing exciting about that.  I bought some glutinous rice and salted fish to go with the magic nangka for lunch.  The combination works better with tomatoes, but it worked with nangka the last time I tried it.  I guess this time the fruit is supposed to be taken straight up.  I left some of the magic nangka on the counter for a few seconds and the cats stole it.  Hey, cats don't eat fruit!

Ramadan starts on Thursday.  That leaves me less time for labor.  Less time for everything, actually.  I guess I will be posting this blog before sunset inshaAllah, usually I post after the sunset prayer.  The menu isn't going to be fancy, I'll be eating straight out of the rice pot or wok most of the time.  I think I have Zuhair Murad left for the SPRING 2023 COUTURE collections, then I'll start on the Spring 2023 Ready-To-Wear.  Hm, what else...  Ramadan is a big deal for me.  Wacky things always happen during the fasting month.

The magic nangka

 

Hi there, beautiful Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  Were you waiting for me?  I'm waiting for you!  I hope you are having an awesome time over there in La La Land, I wish I could be with you.  Please keep safe and healthy OK!  I love you with all of my heart.

I don't really many of the local fruits.  They're not really to my taste, plus I can't afford them most of the time.  I like the Harumanis mango.  Mangosteens, those are nice.  Then there are jackfruits.  There are 2 types of jackfruit, the "nangka" and the "cempedak".  I can eat the nangka, while the cempedak is too sickly sweet for me.  What I have in my hand is the flesh of the nangka, while the fruit in the video below is the cempedak.  There's a tree in the yard that bears both fruits.  It usually bears cempedak, but a few years ago is bore some nangka.  I thought that was a fluke, so I never pay attention to the tree since it usually bears cempedak.  This year it bore some nangka.  I didn't see it because I wasn't looking: it was my mother that pointed it out to me.  Alhamdulillah.  I like nangka.

Hi Natty!  Oh, how cute!  What are you guys up to?  Are you playing a game on that phone?  I like to play a game while I'm waiting for slumber, or while I'm waiting.  Right now I'm in the middle of Kingdom Rush.  I'm not as fast as the guy in the video so I have to slug it out at my own pace, which is time consuming.  What else is there to do, huh!  It kind of reflects my reality: I can't run, so I have to stand my ground and fight.  It's going to take me years to finish this game, probably.

An interesting thing happened playing the game.  I top up my cell phone every month with 5 bucks.  I don't talk to anybody, I top it up to keep the account alive.  So over the past 30 months or so, I accrued more than 150 bucks balance which I don't use.  A few days ago, I discovered that Google Play accepted my cell phone balance as payment.  What a wonderful surprise income!  Alhamdulillah!  I bought some heroes for my Kingdom Rush.  I tried to spend my phone balance on Lazada, but they don't take Google Play.  Drat!  I had to cancel my order.

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the rejected.
