Deep snackology

 

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling?  I'm sure it's been very exciting for you lately, but you're have learned to calm down, be cool, and take it easy.  That's my girl!  I overate for lunch today.  I had to finish off all the won ton skins, and I ate too much.  Ugh.  That made an uncomfortable afternoon.  Dammit!  My snack peanuts don't match with my crunchy anchovies!  My roasted peanuts are sweet for some reason, and I washed the anchovies too much before frying them up.  So the peanuts and anchovies taste great by themselves, but they don't taste good together.  I'm trying to duplicate the quality of my favorite snack peanuts, which always seem to sell out.  I'll get it, inshaAllah.  So I blended half of the peanuts into peanut butter, which should go well with the blackcurrant jam I have.  Cleaning the blender afterwards is a chore, I tell you.  If there's anything that's greasy and sticky at the same time, it's peanut butter.

Few people can wear couture everyday.  Mary Unknown7 is one of them.  That's because she's a pop diva.  But alas, my budget doesn't allow for couture everyday.  Not even for virtual clothes.  What is couture, anyway?  Is it just another excuse to get young women to display their bare titties?  My judgment of couture is that it shouldn't be boring, but it shouldn't be an eyesore either.  Schiaparelli seems to have some balls in designing couture.  Here are my picks from the Schiaparelli SPRING 2022 COUTURE collection:

Hi Natty!  How are today, my love?  I hope that all is well with you, and you are having a fabulous time.  I had to drive far today, to go to Starbucks.  Yes, I needed more of that dark espresso roast.  I had them grind it up for me.  Coffee grinders are hard to come by around here.  Coffee beans too, for that matter.  I also bought my favorite rose pekoe teabags, as the place that sells it is on the way to Starbucks.  They're building a rather ambitious shopping complex in that area, taking a rather big chance I think, during this era of home delivery.  I would like to see a really nice ice cream parlor.  Can't deliver that, huh!  Baskin-Robbins maybe, or Ben and Jerry's.  I also got some anchovies to go with my roasted peanuts.  I roasted them myself this time, from raw peanuts.  They turned out a bit sweet for some reason, I still having mastered salting them yet.  No big deal, that's what the anchovies are for.  Speaking of salt, my pickles are ready!  Faster than usual, it's probably because I put a little too much salt in the brine.  The pickles turned out great, though.  I guzzled them down with the steak sandwiches I had for dinner.  I think you would like my pickles, Natty.  I'll make them religiously for you when you get pregnant inshaAllah.

Movie night

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  Are you having tons of fun?  I wish I could share it with you.  You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  Instead, I must be here.  I cut the grass this evening, and I woke up early this morning to take my Mom to her checkup.  So I'm a bit worn out right now.  But it's movie night!  So let's watch a movie, shall we?  "Me, Myself & Irene" (2002).  I'm afraid I didn't laugh.  Not even a little.  Maybe I've become too serious, I don't know.  I'm a big fan of Jim Carrey, but to me this movie is like Stanley Ipkis meets Lloyd Christmas and not in a funny way.  I kind of wish they had made a 9 hour version of "Dumb and Dumber" back when it first came out.  I would rather watch something like that.

Hi Natty!  Natty, you're so pretty!  Your hair looks fabulous, dahlink.  We're here for the hair!  Where are you now, Honey?  Are you in jolly old England?  Wot wot!  Would you like a cup of tea?  I grew up in England when I was a tiny little kid, did I ever tell you that?  In fact, I have a snapshot of my old house that I found on Google:

We lived in the basement.  I didn't realize that I lived by a graveyard.  Creepy!  I probably didn't know what it was.  I was only 4.  So what are you having for dinner?  Please show us your dinner, we would love to see it!  I had steak sandwiches for dinner.  It was a nice quick fix, because I went out to buy gasoline.  I also bought some raw peanuts, which I'm roasting right now.  It's been a hot day.  I think I'll have some iced tea!  Don't you think it's strange that hot tea is a British stereotype, while iced tea is an American stereotype?  Or is it just me?

OK folks, I believe I've gone through all the designers Spring 2022 Ready-To-Wear collections.  And the winner is.... ZUHAIR MURAD!  YAY!!  WOO HOO!!  YIPPEE!!  YAHOO!!  I think it was the 2 girls that gave him the advantage.  The prize is... that he gets to be the winner!!  YAY!!  WOO HOO!!  YIPPEE!!  YAHOO!! 

 Next is Spring 2022 Couture.  I see that few fashion brands have the nerve to do couture, so that means I have less than a month's worth of reviews (if I did all of them).  I'm not doing Fall 2022 Ready-To-Wear until September 1 inshaAllah.  So when I run out of couture, I guess I'll do Resort 2022.  No contest there, folks.  I don't think I would be able to finish all the Resort 2022 by September 1.
