Movie night(s)

 

Hi Natty!  How's it going?  I hope everything is fine with you over there.  I'm kind of tired right now.  I stayed up to watch a movie, then got up early to make stuffed won tons for my mother's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Mom!  She's 84 years old.

Yeah, I guess you could call it a movie.  It's actually a video game, and it's 10 hours long!  It took me 3 days to finish it.  A lot of video games are set up as interactive movies nowadays.  The acting wasn't that great.  The actress who played Aloy didn't show much emotion other than to swagger like a gunslinger.  But she's supposed to be a champion, so I guess it fits.  The bits of inventory digging were annoying, but it is a gameplay video after all.  Despite my complaints, I was glued to it and watched the whole damned thing.  And the graphics are breathtaking!  Truly a feast for the eyes, especially the contrast of sunlight and shadow.  If this ever became a live action movie, they should just use the computer for all the locations.

 Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope everything is well with you, and you are having a marvelous time.  I love you with all of my heart.  I just got done with dinner.  Nothing special, just steamed rice with beef and veggies.  Nice and easy on the tummy.  My cats like plain white rice, too.  Which is kind of strange for cats.

Sure, we step up or down in life.  Too many people care too much about the steps, and miss out on the stuff in between.  We move from step to step in rhythm, and it isn't perfect.  Or is it?  It's truly a blessing if you were aware to step in rhythm as God planned.

Here are my picks from the Antonio Marras SPRING 2022 READY-TO-WEAR collection.  He had 98 looks on Vogue, but about 10 of them didn't load so I didn't get to see them.  Tsk tsk!  (waves finger)  The servers at Vogue sometimes skip a snapshot or two, but Antonio lost 10 of them with me.

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  Are you enjoying life in the fast lane?  I'm sure people are excited about the brand names and the big trucks.  With all due love and respect Honey, I need to remind you not to be greedy.  Materialists are the enemies of God.  How would you know if you were being materialistic?  In your case, that would be when you are busy chasing the dollar and marriage to me never crosses your mind.  I'm sorry to have failed you, if that were the case.  Please don't be bait for some elaborate trap.  You are an adult, and you can choose with integrity.  That being said, I hope all is well with you and you are having a wonderful time.

Video game movies are really looking great nowadays, and those are real actors behind the avatars.  Gameplay can make the movies tediously long, though.  Right now I'm in the middle of watching Horizon Forbidden West, and it is at least 9 hours long.  And that was the shortest version I could find!  The best video game movie I've seen is Tomb Raider 2019, it's only 3 hours long, and the kid who made the movie made the gameplay minimal and seamless with the story.   So what if she never ran out of ammo.
