Yet another another average day

 

What a beautiful girl!  Natty, those are awesome snapshots, and you look so hot!  I can tell that that's a professional photographer, and not just anybody with a cell phone.  It looks almost like a portfolio for a dating service, except that you don't need makeup.  Hm.  Well whatever it is you and your society is planning, I'm sure you will have fun at it.  Please protect your chastity and safety.

Me I'm not a free person, I am a prisoner of the music.  When you marry me inshaAllah, you will be marrying a prisoner and live the life of a prisoner's wife.  I can't even take you to the shore right now to see the sea even if I had all the money in the world, because it's closed off due to the Covid.  Poor Mary has it even worse.  We at Shadowplay give our lives to protect Mary Unknown7 for the sake of Allah.  Some people enjoy acting upon their jealousy thus making it obvious that they don't know and don't care about the terrible cost of having a gift like Mary's.

It's just another average day here for me.  Well I went to get my second dose of vaccine, I guess I don't do that everyday.  Actually I was supposed to go on Monday, but I got 18 confused with 16.  Otherwise, it's a normal day.  I ate out for lunch, the restaurants are open again.  Then I got a haircut.  I had to cook my dinner today though, I had made plans to do so.  It's chicken breast cooked in honey butter to go with beans and sliced bread.  Would you like to try some?

I've been watching videos of dental scaling lately, I find it more entertaining than the pimple popping videos.  They crack out huge chunks of tartar while you rarely get to see a really satisfying zit pop out a cupful of solidified grease, the amount oozed is usually quite tiny.  And the music for this video is the best!

Yet another average day

 

Hi Natty!  What's happening?  How are you coping, my dearest?  I think you are doing absolutely great inshaAllah, and I love you with all of my heart.  Not much going on here other than the usual.  I spent the morning sweeping and cleaning house, otherwise be choked with the dust that builds up so quickly here.  Then I did my laundry.  I had takeout for lunch, and heated up leftover fried noodles for dinner.  I'll have to admit that today is a bit on the lazy side, and I'm a lazy guy.  But my laziness is incomplete without you to snuggle.  I guess I'll just have to settle with watching YouTube.

Just an average day

 

Hi Natty!  Good Monday!  How are you today, my beloved?  I hope you are healthy and enjoying yourself.  It's just an average day here for me, doing more of the same old shit.  I did wake up later than usual, because I spent most of the night working on drum tracks.  Yawn!  I'm still sleepy.  I had ramen for lunch.  Yeah it does take some labor, but I love ramen!  Ramen is simple folks, I don't know what the big fuss is about.  Just make sure your broth is tasty, then add the noodles and whatever to it.  Simple, right?  Good broth usually needs some animal in it, I don't know of any good vegetarian broth.  I normally use a fish, because it's the quickest to boil.  Cook it until the flesh falls off, then fish it out and add the rest of the stuff.  I use the minimum amount of MSG, and flavor it until it you can taste something.  After adding the rest of the stuff, I pick the flesh from the fish and chuck that back into the pot.  Easy!  Dinner was a chili cheesburger with fries.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to working more on those drum tracks after getting all the other daily computer chores done.  I'm going to watch the news now, Natty.  I love you!

Working with a piece of shit

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  Is everything calm and sweet for you?  I sure hope so!  I want to give you a wonderful life and happiness, because I love you so much.  I just got done with dinner.  I fried up some beef chow mein.  Yeah it was some labor, but I have a set routine so it wasn't too tiring nor too much of a hassle nor generate much trash.  I have some left over, would you like some?

Oh no folks, I meant my piece of shit cymbal that I bought online.  Cymbals are EXPENSIVE!  So I bought the cheapest I could find, a "Gazechimp" directly from mainland China!  That cost me about 70 bucks local currency.  I was banking on my theory that every cymbal has a sweet spot.  Which turned out to be true in this case.  Of course it depends on where you hit it, how hard you hit it, and what you use to hit it with.  A metal screwdriver has a different effect than my usual bamboo wand.  No, I don't use drumsticks.  Except for rolling out dough.  As you can see, the cymbal is concave in the opposite direction.  No big deal, that just means it sounds better upside down.  I'm pretty excited about these drum tracks, folks.  InshaAllah they will sound awesome.

Oh, labor!

 Hi Natty!  How are you feeling today?  I hope you are feeling great, and are healthy and confident.  I just got done cutting the grass, and I'm a bit worn out.  Yeah, I had to take the weed whacker to the shop, and I picked it up this morning.  It just needed a good cleaning.  There are so many things to clean, and they're not clean enough, and they're not cleaned often enough!

I'm in the middle of doing drum tracks for Shadowplay's next album, "Rise of the Horizon Creature" aka "Search for the Beast".  I'm trying to keep things as quiet as possible, so I have devised a unique approach to recording live drums.  It's tedious, because it involves mostly computer work.  But it sounds acceptable, even powerful.  There's nothing like live drums.  The only thing I can't duplicate is the feedback between drum heads.  Maybe.  This is very time consuming folks, and I am not able to spend a lot of time at a time at the computer.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope all is easy going and enjoyable for you.  Aw don't you worry about a thing, my beautiful one.  You're going to do just fabulous, and everything will work out just fine for us inshaAllah.  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart, and I think of you all of the time.  I don't want any of those damned A-listers.  I want to marry you!  I've already made my decision, and I can be pretty stubborn about it.

I had to take the weed whacker to the service shop yesterday, so I got a pause from cutting the grass.  Then the government sent me a message not to attend prayers at the mosque until I was fully vaccinated, so I didn't have to go to the Friday prayer today.  I had to pick up my mother's meds in the morning, so I had takeout lunch.  I had planned ramen for lunch today, and I had bought one fish for the broth.  I had my ramen for dinner instead.  I've been buying one fish at a time lately, while others buy them in kilos.  It's just for my ramen.  That way, my fish always stay fresh.

Mary has such a normal look today!  She's just an average girl at heart, folks.

A-lister

 

Do you want to be an A-lister, Natty?  Not me.  I'm too damned lazy to jump through those hoops.  Hell I'm too damned lazy to tour, period.  But I bet you have been dreaming about it all your life, huh?  Coming from a showbiz family, and all that.  What is an A-lister, anyway?  According to Google, an A-lister is... wait a minute!  Google doesn't have a definition for A-lister!  Anyway, according to Merriam-Webster, an A-lister is "an individual of the highest level of society, excellence or eminence."  What I see as being an A-lister is one of the highest paid movie stars.  Like Scarlett Johansson.  But since the pandemic, nobody goes to the movies much anymore, certainly not movies as profitable as "Avengers: Endgame".  It doesn't look like the Covid is going to go away anytime soon, so how Biblical (or Qur'anic) that the highest grossing movie of all time was released right before the pestilence.  So the movie studios are going straight to streaming, thus the recent lawsuit between Scarlett and Disney.  However, streaming is an Internet presence.  Right?  So does that mean that an A-lister nowadays is someone with the most powerful Internet presence?  Movies aren't like what they used to be.  Because of the sheer glut of movies available nowadays.  I don't even care if they're free or not anymore.
