Hi Honey! How are you feeling today? With all the spiritual excitement, I'm sure you feel a bit subdued. So do I, but it's good to place your fear in Allah. So please pray. I am in awe however, at how precise God is. Not much labor for me today. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen, it's time to whip up a batch of chili for myself this time. I think I've found the perfect formula, there's nothing like letting the beans rule the chili. If so, would that be chili or refried beans? Hm. It's chili, and pretty tasty. Alhamdulillah. Instead of beef, this time I put a chunk of salted fish in there. Oh my God, it's so tasty... You can't taste the fish, but the beans are so amped up. I spent the rest of the morning watching X-Factor and Got Talent. I almost went into trash TV (Kardashian territory), but stopped and turned back and didn't go in too deep. Some of the singers on those shows are very talented. I would never try out for those shows. I don't compete. It's not my bag, and not my orders. I already have an agenda. Yeah, I wasted half the day watching that junk. It cost me my nap time, and I regret that. I need that nap so as not to fall into a coma during voice training. It's all YouTube's fault.

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
93. All food was lawful to the children of Israel except what Israel made unlawful for itself, before the Law was revealed. Say, "Bring you the Law and study it, if you be men of truth."

Cheers has chili
Hi Honey! How are you today, my beloved? What's the news? The fires you see out there nowadays, is all the manipulation of God. I am just a servant of God, and you are my wife inshaAllah. I have to blog and run today, I took too much time eating my dinner, and I need to get to the mosque. It wasn't anything special either, just bread and curry, I simply don't know how the time flies. My parents are suddenly hooked on chili, and my Mom has her own recipe now. The locals here have never encountered chili, but I think it would be perfect for the local palate. Beans, onions, beef, hot and spicy... with bread. That's not weird at all. Is chili American or Mexican food? I say it's American food.

84. Say, "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that given to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will."

Brazilian models
Hi Honey! What's going on? I often wonder what you are up to. Are you planning to be in the director's chair? You can borrow my chair if you like, as long as I'm not sitting on it. Otherwise you can sit on my lap, and then well... I'm a go-with-the-flow type of person, Honey. You should know that by now. I was browsing YouTube last night, when I came across the original version of "The Girl From Ipanema". I thought that this would be a perfect song for me to sing, it's totally my style and in my range. The girlie part of the song of course, I am a chick singer after all. So I spent all last night looping the song, playing it while I slept, plus this morning before voice training so I could sing it today. I sang it as the first song which turned out OK, then the computer made me sing it again an hour later, and I had totally forgotten the words. Argh! My brain is full! It takes me a long time of singing it over and over to remember the words for a new song, because I am an emotional singer and I need to make the emotional connection. This is also true of stuff that I write. I didn't think I would be able to use any of the songs in "Woo Hoo" for my set, because the album is too dark. Then I decided that "Gyrlie Roxtar" would be appropriate, but I'm still having trouble nailing the emotional connection when singing it live, even though I wrote the damned thing. I hate singers! What a bunch of fussy bitches.
Anyway, "The Girl From Ipanema" absolutely reminds me of Brazilian models. There used to be a heyday when Brazilian models were the only models out there. Like in 2004 for instance, the Victoria's Secret front line was all Brazilian plus Heidi Klum. I think the prettiest Brazilian model back then was Ana Beatriz. Adriana and Alessandra were way up there too. Those were the days. Truly the end of an era.

Qur'an 20181111
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
72. A section of the people of the Book say, "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers but reject it at the end of the day, perchance they may turn back."
73. "And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say, "True guidance is the guidance of Allah, lest a revelation be sent to someone like that which was sent unto you. Or that those should engage you in argument before your Lord." Say, "All bounties are in the hand of Allah: God grants them to whom God pleases, and Allah is the All-Caring and All-Knowing."

Too much dough for my hands?
Hi Honey! How are you today? How are you feeling? Now don't be a stranger. I hope you are feeling great and having a marvelous time. I pulled a muscle in my side when pulling out tapioca yesterday. That bothered me all night, I couldn't even toss and turn! But I was OK in the morning, alhamdulillah. I wanted to sleep more, but I had errands to run. In the evening I had some yard work to do, then I had to make a batch of dough. I usually use one kilo of flour at a time, and that's 5 times the size of my hand. Today my Mom wanted me to make dough for her, so I used 2 kilos of flour, which made the dough ball 10 times the size of my hand. The title is misleading, I was able to handle it just fine, albeit a little tiring. I don't like to handle other people's dough along with mine though. I guess I will never become a civil servant, or accountant, or be responsible for other people's money in any way. I DON'T want to handle other people's money. And I WON'T. I refuse. Whatever money I get must be all mine. I'm a responsible citizen, inshaAllah. I give zakat, inshaAllah. I report regularly to the taxman.
