Busy morning

Yeah, I had to go downtown and run quite a few errands.  I had lunch downtown though, so I guess I'm all set for voice training after I take my nap.  The nap is important!  It helps stop me from putting myself in a coma when I sing.  Those drowsy love songs...

I do miss you , Erin.  Next month will be 4 years since I proposed to you, and I still don't have a ring.  I don't blame you from wanting to check other options so you can start your own family.  All I know is that I must be the one to pay for our marriage, and I ask you to have faith and wait.  Do you have faith that I will get the money?  The crowd has gone insane, but is that good enough?  I assure you that I am faithful.  InshaAllah.  I don't flirt.  I marry.

There are 2 types of people.  One whose conduct is righteous, and the other whose ill conduct pleases him/herself.  There is no use sighing over the latter.  Just let them go.

Natty, I am so pleased to see that you are in Elle.  And those clothes are beautiful.  I really want you to work right now while you are in hot demand, and make lots of money that is all your own.  By the way, that Carlos guy is so CREEPY.  He keeps changing his username too, but it's the same guy.  You can tell it's the same guy by how creepy he is.

Pina, I'm glad to see you back at work too.  You need to milk my connection to you, inshaAllah you will find it very profitable, and I want you to take this opportunity to make lots of your own money.  That is my place, to provide for my wife however I can.  Did you know that I spent my childhood in London?  London has changed since then.  As far as I hear, it has become more like NYC.  So I hope so you have learned by now, and are conducting wiser business.

 

 

 

I love my wife

I don't know if what you called what I do as "wasting time".  Since I don't have any money, then I suppose it is a waste of time.  But then again, what I do makes money for others so is that a waste of time?  What I feel is hot and tired.  I dislike manual labor.  I would rather be in front of a computer.

Yesterday evening, I did some chainsawing.  I broke down branches for the bonfire, then I cut down a whole lot of saplings that grew around your house inshaAllah.  It rained last night, so I guess I won't be doing any burning yet.  Then I had dinner at Ina's.  I had "laksa", which is rice noodles in fish broth.  This morning, I spent most of my time in the kitchen.  I bought some breakfast, which was "pulut" (glutenous rice) with salted fish, which I always eat with fresh tomatoes.  It's what I do, no one else eats pulut with tomatoes except me.  Then I boiled the fish and rice for Floofy's fish smoothies.  While I was waiting for that, I made a batch of dough.  After I finish this letter, I'll blend the fish and rice.  Then I'll have my lunch, which will be ramen noodles in soup.  I have fried chicken for dinner tonight.  I have my chicken marinading in extra thick young coconut milk in the cooler right now.  Want some?

Natty, you love your friends huh?  Being a star might make you lose a few people due to jealousy and what not, but the Internet is a big place.  You can have your network of friends.  It's just a different situation than what you were used to.  You've grown up.

Pina, I suppose you can consider yourself a Dutch ambassador of some sort.  Because you are my wife inshaAllah, that makes you more interesting than just a plain old model.  But you do need to dress well.  It's OK for a man to be ugly if he has power, but it's not the same for women.  You must work on diversifying now, while the interest in you is hot.  Do you like cheese?  Cheese is very limited and expensive here.

Keeping your cool?

The past couple of weeks were tough for me, but Allah helped me out and I'm keeping the temperatures down.  It would be nice to be in autumn but I'm not, so there.  How are you doing?  Are those emotions in check?  I think you should hide for a bit, maybe redecorate your home or something.  Don't provoke the public unless you have an official statement to make.

Hey Natty, how's the spy network coming along?  Oh it's not so much a spy network, but a closed circuit camera system...  I rely on Allah for information, but sometimes info is withheld from me for the sake of others.  Like when Julia got married, and I kept on writing to her for almost a year.  Duh!  If I had money, I would have been married years ago!  But having such a system means that the world is smaller than you think, which is auspicious for our being married soon.  But Erin first, OK?

Pina!  How are you?  I hope you understand that it's not a matter of having it all, but doing the best you can with what you have...

 

 

 

 

 

I can't draw

If drawing came easily for me, I would have never left the bedroom when I was young.  But I can't draw, so instead I had to collect photos of beautiful models to look at.  I can't draw, otherwise "Woo Hoo" would have been released with cover art.  I don't have money, so I can't pay someone to do the cover art.  But it didn't matter: I felt the music was strong enough to be released without cover art.  It was supposed to come with acting and sound effects, but I felt the music was strong enough to be released without acting and sound effects.  If I had been able to include cover art, I have a vision of a mosaic of teeth of a Verdun type landscape done in puke green with a grinning crescent moon in the sky.  I suppose if I come across someone who would donate such cover art of quality, I could re-release the album with cover art.  But it doesn't matter: I feel the music is strong enough to be released without cover art.  But it would be a shame if "Woo Hoo" turned out to have greater historical impact than "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band",  and there was no cover art.  But as it is, it doesn't need cover art.

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

46.  Say, "I do admonish you on one point: that you do stand up before Allah, in pairs or alone, and reflect.  Your companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible penalty."

47.  Say, "No reward do I ask of you: it is in your interest.  My reward is only due from Allah, and God is Witness to all things."

48.  Say, "Verily my Lord does cast the Truth.  God that has full knowledge of what is hidden."

49.  Say, "The Truth has arrived, and falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything."

Sunday

Sunday mornings I clean my parents' bedroom.  Plus the other usual chores I do.  Last night it rained, so I don't have to water half of the plants, which is a nice break.  Because Sunday mornings are always busy.  My Mom had me running around looking for breakfast, but everyone's closed this weekend.  It's the weekend of Independence Day and the Eid.  Only big business is open today, and they weren't open yet.  Housecleaning took me a 2 or 3 hours, then I had to go to the grocery store to buy noodles and eggs for my lunch.  I gave me Mom a back massage, not It's time for me to take a nap.  And I need a nap if I am to function properly for voice training.

I sure hope they release the Kennedy assassination documents without any problems.  Anybody who tries to stop or tamper with the release must surely be protecting the Mob.

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

34.  Never did We send a Warner to a population but the wealthy ones among them said, "We believe not in that with which you have been sent."

35.  They said,"We have more in wealth and in sons, and we cannot be punished."

36.  Say, "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Provision to whom God pleases, but most men understand not."

37.  It is not your wealth nor your sons that will bring you nearer to Us in degree, but only those who believe and work righteousness.  These are the ones for whom there is a multiplied Reward for their deeds, while secure they are in dwellings on high.

38.  Those who strive against Our Signs, to frustrate them, will be given over into Punishment.

39.  Say, "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to such of God's servants as God pleases, and nothing do you spend in the least but God replaces it, for God is the Best of those who grant Sustenance."

40.  One Day God will gather them all together, and say to the angels, "Was it you that these men used to worship?"
