Always something else

 

This is KARDI from South Korea.  It's hard for me to find a Kpop group that I like, but this band scored 3 out of 3 in a row with me when I watched them on YouTube last night.  I think Kpop is finally evolving into something more palatable to Americanized consumers like me.  This band has to be a shaped and trained formula: look at how photogenic they are.  I shudder to think of the contract they are under.  Slaves.  But they are good.

There were a couple of your full shows uploaded recently on YouTube.  The show at the Chickie Wah Wah has better sound, but I think your bass player's vocal mic was turned off.  Your band had some powerful energy at times.  Presentation was kind of disjointed, though: you should work on moving one song into the next.  Get a better flow, and don't let the energy fizzle out.  Perhaps in the future you could employ your own sound guy.

I dunno if a singer like Aubrey would join you.  I think people go to your shows to look at Grace Bowers, so it fits that any singer you have does mostly a lot of dancing.  I want you to make great music.  Yes the music is good, and you are beautiful.  But be great.  If Aubrey did join you, it would help push your band over the top.

I totally recommend Aubrey Logan.  Plus she's a kick ass trombone player for those long instrumental breaks you love so much!

You will never be "one of the guys" because you don't smell like them.  Boys don't play the same as girls, and you don't want them to either.  If love is what you find or seek at such gatherings, then you don't want me.  But I love you so much, you are very precious to me.  If you insist on being social in that way, then make it a very large group with many females present.

The luxury cruise

 

I admire the way you run your ship, being magnanimous and social as you are.  I tried to do it your style, but it didn't work for me.  I'm more into the "mysterious unknown forces" approach to music business.  I don't know how you are able to embrace all that shit talk from people.  It must make you paranoid.  But that's your luxury cruise, not mine.  You're going to become a crazy old lady!

Paranoia isn't paranoia when you live in the public eye and it's your day to day business routine.  But my religion demands that I not be skeptical of people.  I try, inshaAllah.
