Helmut, the chosen kitty

 

Hi Natty!  Thank you for your love!  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart, and I will marry you InshaAllah.  I hope you are having a wonderful time over there, and keeping safe and healthy.  I'm doing OK over here.  Lookie is still in heat, so I have to keep the boys and the girls separated.  Lookie and Adolf howl together from opposite sides of the door, and even touch noses through the bottom crack.  I would consider it romantic, but all Lookie does when she isn't in heat is slap Adolf around.

So Adolf is hornier than usual right now, and his two boys have to put up with him.  You can see Helmut there in the photo almost like a Christ figure, tolerating his father's libido.  Don't worry folks, the boys know how to make their father back off.  A faceful of claws does the trick.  But that's not what makes Helmut the chosen kitty.  He's the only one of my 7 cats that behaves well while I'm cooking.  Lately I've been having him hang out with me in the kitchen, instead of locking him up with the rest of his family.  He doesn't attack my dinner while I'm trying to cook it!  He didn't stick around for today's dinner though.  I made won tons stuffed with chicken, tofu, garlic, black pepper and basil.  I double fried the won tons so they're darker and crunchier than usual.  Want some?

Chicken

Hi Natty!  How are you?  How's the family?  I hope that all is well with you and you are having fun.  Tons of fun.  Please keep safe and healthy OK!  I bought 2 kilos of boneless chicken breast yesterday but when I processed it, I had less meat than I usually do.  It must not have been 2 kilos then.  That would make sense given Global Inflation (something created by the wealthy where the hoarding of excessive amounts of money makes everything more expensive for everyone else).

I sense that people are upset because I don't spend money on their expensive slop.  I've said this before: I'm a poor man.  I can't afford to spend money on their expensive slop.  I might as well make my own slop.  You know what I mean?  As it is with the budget I have now, I can only make calculated endorsements.  Namely the places I frequent now, where should be obvious to the locals.  If I had an endorsement budget then I would try different foods and merchants out.  No I won't eat up everything I buy, I'm not that stupid.  No I'm not going to give the food to my cats, they have very sensitive stomachs.  But I don't have an endorsement budget.  That's because I'm a poor man.  I can't afford to spend money on their expensive slop. I might as well make my own slop.

Hi Natty!  How's it going, Honey?  Were you waiting for me?  I'm waiting for you!  Don't you worry about a thing, my dearest heart.  Everything will work out absolutely fabulous for us InshaAllah.  Please keep yourself safe and healthy in the meanwhile.  I had to go out in the morning to buy fruit and chicken this morning.  That's a mangosteen in the picture.  At first I wanted lychees, but they said the lychees didn't arrive.  Later I read in the news that there was a dog eating festival going on right now somewhere in China, where they eat dog with lychees.  OK then.  No thanks, I don't want any.  I bought mangosteens instead.  I don't eat a lot of fruit, it usually gives me the runs.  I like mangosteens regardless, but I have had a hard time trying to grow a tree of my own.  So I'm going to give it another try.  I hear this fruit tree is slow growing, but maybe God will be kind enough to make an exception in my case.

I didn't buy a chicken, I bought boneless chicken breast.  But I didn't have that for lunch, I made ramen instead.  I thought I would use a white bowl instead of my usual pink bowl so it would photograph better, and it does.  You can even see the ramen brick at the bottom of the bowl.  Want some?
