What's in a name

 

Hi Natty!  How you doin' Honey?  I hope you are feeling great and keeping safe.  You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  So what is that competition on the red carpet again?  I mentioned this before, is to be the most beautiful girl in the world!  To be the most beautiful movie star, or more beautiful than the movie stars!

My boy Adolf had more energy when I visited him this evening.  He's stuck in that cage, poor fella.  I had to scratch his chin and neck for him since he has to wear that collar.  And he reeks!  Phew!  He's still peeing out of a tube, that's why.  They will be removing the tube tomorrow inshaAllah, then they will have to see that he can pee on his own before they release him back to me.  My poor buddy boy!  The first thing to greet him when he gets home inshaAllah is a bath!

After doing these fashion reviews for a while, I've noticed a pattern.  The pattern is that the famous names are famous because they generate good product!  There are exceptions of course, like the Fall 2022 Gucci-Adidas stuff was butt ugly.  But for the most part, the grand names deserve their reputation.  I advise new and unknown designers to keep their collection small but high quality, instead of churning out a mass of crap just because they get to post it on Vogue.  I will review it inshaAllah, unless I don't like any of the outfits.  Please keep it straightforward, with none of the artsy-fartsy photography.

Kitten update

 

Hi Natty!  You have beautiful legs, my darling,  Those shoes look like they're out of your comfort zone, even the Maryjanes.  And the white shoes don't look new.  Well, you can't wear wellies on the red carpet.  Well you can, but you won't likely win the competition.  Smiles!  Smiles!  You're beautiful and successful!

Adolf looks like he's feeling better today.  Alhamdulillah, I'm so glad.  Yesterday was very emotional for me, but I slept a lot last night knowing that he was taken good care of.  No he's not a kitten, but he was a kitten when I found him and his sister abandoned under my mother's bedroom window.  Here is a snapshot of Adolf's children, sleeping in their father's favorite bed:

They grow so fast!  Yes, there is one missing.  She was camera shy when I took the snapshot of her siblings.  This is Gunhilde:

She looks wet, right?  That's because she is the star of our little side story today: "The Terror of the Washer".  The kittens usually sleep at the same time, and together.  One of their favorite spots is my washer, where they curl up along the edges inside the metal housing, in a sort of "fashion conference".  Today is laundry day for me.  I stuffed my clothes into the washer basin, added detergent, then proceeded to pour in a bucket of water a trip to the bathroom at a time ( I don't have running water in my house).  The Gunhilde crawled out of my clothes, sopping wet.  She had climbed up the side of the basin into my clothes.  Good thing I spotted her!  But she fell off the side of the basin before I could grab her. and my arm couldn't fit into the hole where she fell.  Another good thing is that there is no bottom to the washer, so she landed on the ground.  I couldn't get the other kittens, my arms aren't flexible enough to scrape the sides of the washer housing.  So I just started my wash.  As I expected when the spin cycle began, kittens popped out of the washer and I was able to grab them then throw them into the bosom of their mother.  Anna was especially upset that I interrupted her "fashion conference".  But it's the spin cycle!  She hissed and spat and growled and swiped at me, but I was still able to grab her by the tail and yank her out of there.

Adolf gets surgery

 

Hi Natty!  Honey I know you don't like the Passenger, and you blame me for her presence.  Now it seems that you would accept the Passenger if she were a girl of your choice.  I think you're just being cruel.  I really didn't want a second wife after dumping Erin.  I never brought the matter up, either.

I took Adolf to the vet first thing this morning, folks.  The vet said he needed a surgical procedure, and he had to stay at the clinic for a few days.  No, I don't have the money to pay for it yet.  Please save his life.  The vet blamed the kibble I gave him.  There you have it folks, male cats are very sensitive to kibble.  Don't be taken by packaging, what's printed are lies and misleading.  Use only the kibble prescribed by the vet for your male cat.  So he had the procedure done in the morning and I visited him in the evening, that's when I took the snapshot above.

Ya Allah, thank You for the music and knowledge that You gave me.  I am grateful, I truly am.  Ya Allah, please help me financially now.
