Animals have been my day today.  I didn't even get a chance to tend to my cats when I stepped out of the house this morning.  My brother is out of town, and my mother wanted me to tend to his pets because she can't do it.  He has 3 rabbits, 3 chickens, and I don't know how many cats at this time.  The cats are indoors.  I didn't see them, but I'm sure they saw me.  The litter box was clean and tidy, which means they haven't been using it, but I'm not going to hunt down their poop.  Stuff like that gets found eventually and in this case not by me, thank God.  The rabbits were easy enough to tend to.  My brother has rabbit food growing all over his yard, some kind of rosette I think.  He has a rooster and 2 hens, and getting in the pen was a bit of a crawl.  After doing all that, I had something else to deal with when I got back home.  The neighbor is a duck farmer.  I think he sells the ducks to the local Chinese for Peking Duck.  Apparently not all livestock go meekly to their fate, because I found a duck that made a nest among my banana trees.  I suppose she thought I would be her savior.  But legally she's not my duck, so I picked her up and threw her over the fence.  Then I put the 5 eggs in a plastic bag, and walked around to the neighbor's house and put the eggs on a table outside his front door.  When I walked back my mother saw me and shouted, "Where did you go?  Were you looking for the cock?  He likes to jump over the fence!"  Mother, please!  Don't say things like that, it's rude!  I like girls!  I want to marry my Natty!

Thursday

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  Are you enjoying your trip?  Please keep safe and healthy.  It's Thursday today.  I just had dinner, which was eggs and beans.  I made a fresh batch of cowboy beans yesterday.  My beans have become consistent.  My cats love my cowboy beans!  One detail I want to master is to have them not generate gas.  I think that happens if I didn't shock the beans.  With fire, that is.  Evenings have been short lately, so short that I have little time to cut the grass and feed myself before sunset.  I don't know why that is, perhaps the earth's spin is changing direction or something.  So I cut the grass in the morning today.  The weather has been pleasant lately, but I do risk passing out during Mary's vocal session.  But I managed to get a good nap in just in time before she showed up to the studio.  Anyway, it's sunset now and I have to pray.  I love you!

Natty, you're so pretty!  I love you so much!  That's a pretty bag, too.  Your clothes are beautiful, too.  Did they give you that truck?  You're definitely not a painted lady, my precious Natty.  You are a natural girl.

Check out the video above.  It's the end of the world, for sure!  People walking around naked in public just like the caveman days.  You can blame tights/leggings/yoga pants for the public oblivion in this case.  Would you be able to be a guy and walk around in public wearing nothing but body paint?  That would be impossible for people not to notice, unless he covered his willie with a bag or something.  Even then... no, only a woman can pull such a stunt off.  A modern woman in the guise of modern clothes.  Which makes the video above not only lewd, but sexist!

Movie night

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today?  I hope you are well, and enjoying your life.  I just got done with dinner, which was fries and a chili cheeseburger.  Actually, I'm not done with it yet, I haven't eaten the burger.  I'll have it later as a snack.

Oh, it's movie night!  Watch a movie with me!  "Eraserhead" (1977).  I have to give a spoiler, just for entertainment's sake: Why did he kill the baby?  Because it laughed at him.  Spoilers don't really spoil a David Lynch movie.  You know how he is, anything goes.

The night market

 

Hi Natty!  How's your back?  Go lie face down on the floor Honey, I'll give you a massage.  After that, we can figure out what you want for dinner.  Oh we're not cooking dinner tonight, Honey.  Today is Monday, and we are going to buy dinner at the night market.  Hm, nice weather this evening.  I guess Allah is being nice.  I spent more than I usually do tonight. I bought some "satay" which is basically meat skewers served with spicy peanut sauce.  Yes, the same type of sauce you get with prawn fritters.  I bought 10 skewers of satay.  Also I got a beef  "murtabak", which is kind of a stuffed paratta flat bread.  By themselves the portions are measly for me, so I put them together and that turned out quite filling.  Putting them together gave me heartburn, though.  It's a good thing I have lots of roasted peanuts.  Peanuts or sunflower seeds are excellent natural remedies for heartburn.  What would you like, Honey?  I'm sure you will find something to your taste.  I have a feeling you are ready to try anything and everything.  If so, please don't get bloated and beware of sugar.  Oh dear, it's starting to rain.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope you are not too lonely.  At least you have friends.  I am very lonely without you.  Loneliness is a fact of life for me, I don't know life any other way.  We will be married soon inshaAllah.  Please be patient and pray.  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart.

It's Sunday over here.  Sundays are always busy for me, but at least the afternoon was quite pleasant so I was able to take a nice nap before Mary Unknown7 started singing.  In the evening, I made a fresh batch of peanut butter.  When I was at the supermarket the other day, I checked the prices on peanut butter.  It takes me RM 5.50 plus labor to make roughly 12oz of peanut butter, while a 12oz jar of peanut butter costs about RM 12 at the supermarket.  Skippy was about RM 15.  That's an extra 10 bucks more than making it myself!  I roast the peanuts in a covered pot with a glass lid, and pick up the pot and toss the peanuts around with the lid on to stir it.  I guess I should have roasted today's batch longer, because my peanut butter came out white.  It still tastes like peanut butter, but it's white.  I guess I got white confused with brown.  Next time, I'll make it REALLY brown.

Roast beef

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, my love?  I hope you are healthy and keeping safe.  I'm doing OK over here.  Not much going on, just the usual.  Oh, I made a fresh batch of my generic roast beef!  The ingredients are so simple.  I don't really want to go into the details of the procedure, though.  As I mentioned before, I don't want people selling ¥500,000 bowls of Zam-style ramen.  Well, this is roast beef.  I will reveal one important ingredient: beef.  What's so hard about roast beef, anyway?  Just slow cook it in a covered pot until done.  If you like it rare, then you must use the best cuts of beef.  In my roast beef the gristle and fat are the best parts, so I don't want the expensive cuts.  There's a snapshot of today's batch above, swimming in the drippings.  I use the drippings to make my world famous Cowboy beans.  Famous among cats, that is.
