How are those raging emotions today?  Still on a rampage?  It's just a phase, Honey.  I think it's on its last legs, and soon you will be back to your easy going self again.  Sometimes I wish I didn't have any emotions, but we need our emotions, especially us.  We need them so we can work.  Don't worry Honey, everything will be just fine InshaAllah.

Want some dinner?  I cooked up a couple of pita breads, then I pan fried a chicken breast with salt, pepper and butter.  Simplicity!  I also heated up my extra thick curry and added chunks of tofu in it.  Here, let me spoon feed you a chunk of tofu swimming in hot curry.  Do you like it?

Ah, Nashville

I've never been there.  But I'm glad you get to explore there, Natty my darling.  But what you need is a flashy pair of cowboy boots!  Something with a lot of rhinestones on it.  I did hear about Nashville wanting to be a sort of fashion center, but it's hard to imagine anything fashionable from there outside of the Country and Western scene.  It's not a geographical bias, either.  It's a case of where the music is the dominating or domineering influence.  I'm sure there are many types of music out of Nashville, but I wouldn't go there to seek eclectic fashion.  I would however, go there for a pair of cowboy boots.  I do recall a fashion event in Nashville... oh, it was the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue meet and greet event!  That seemed like a marathon effort for anyone who had to work in it.  I'm not surprised I haven't heard of it since.

But oh Natty!  You must be attracting a lot of musicians!  Among other guys.  You're beautiful.  Mwah!  I'm independent of the trappings of a traditional music career.  I am however, trapped in my own routine.  At least Allah has set it up that I get to focus on home and family.  Alhamdulillah.  I don't have to tour!  I'm too lazy to tour.

Where are you now?  One would think that you are on a cruise liner, but for the brick wall in the background.  I'm guessing that you are still in Europe, probably still in Sweden or even Norway.  No, there can't be any work there.  Germany, then.  Wherever in the world you may be, you are looking glamorous and beautiful, pristine and pure.

Are you hangin' in there, Honey?  Don't you worry about anything my precious Darling, everything will be all right InshaAllah.  I love you, OK!  Yeah, everything may seem all amped up right now, and it's getting you so excited, you have so much energy you don't know how to contain it.  But really if you think carefully about it, the situation is exactly the same as it was 6 years ago.  It's all the same old day, and this is your life.  This is our life together.  You can always talk to me, you know I love to chat with you.  Use your Instagram to talk to me.  Afraid of the Public Eye?  What does it matter now?  What can they do to you anymore?  Don't you worry, my love.  I love you, and I am always with you.

The Onion

Hi there, my beautiful Ladies!  How's it going today?  Oh, it's another average day for me.  Are those emotions under control?  I do hope so. The world is so snake eyed charmed about being the wife of a rock star, but this rock star is a prisoner.  A prisoner of the music.  So essentially you will be the wife of a prisoner.  Please don't forget that.

Isn't that a beautiful onion?  I got it at the supermarket where I buy chicken.  Red onions are strong, but if you eat it raw, of course it's going to smell and taste strong.  If you cooked it however, it becomes sweet and if you added salt when cooking it, it becomes savory and generates a dark sauce similar to soy sauce.  So I fried up two of those gorgeous onions, then added liver which I had marinated in turmeric and salt as usual.  Turmeric is very effective at neutralizing the bitterness of chicken liver.  Stuff that into pita bread, and dinner was two extra fat liver and onion pitas.  A man sized meal, if I may say so.
