Hi Erin! How's life? It's a struggle to be normal, I'm sure. I think few of us ever find satisfaction in it. I am carrying a tiny bit of a surplus right now, but I need to spend on the Internet so I'm being cautious. Work, you know. Since I didn't eat out, I cook according to what's in my cooler. Lunch was liver, tomatoes and ginger with tortillas, and I was out of time for dinner so I fried up some chicken nuggets I had left in there. Knowing how to cook really helps. Alhamdulillah. That way you save so much on food, and you learn to "ride the refrigerator" so to speak. It's a spiritual thing. Allah is the One Who provides sustenance. Have faith, Honey. We'll come together inshaAllah. Stay fit and stay active OK? I love you.

I admit that I'm a lazy slob, always have been. I do shower and brush my teeth, y'know. But nothing I do is good enough for anybody- maybe I should work for a perfume company. Nah, no time. Qur'an 20190228
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
147. If they belie you say, "Your Lord is full of Mercy, All-Forbearing, and never will God's Wrath be turned back from people who are sinners."
148. Those who worship others will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have taken partners with God, nor would our fathers, and we would not have taboos." Likewise belied those who were before them, until they tasted Our Wrath. Say, "Have you any knowledge that you can produce before us? Verily, you follow nothing but conjecture and you do nothing but lie."
149. Say, "With Allah is the perfect proof and argument. Had God so willed, God would indeed have guided you all."
150. Say, "Bring forward your witnesses who can testify that Allah has forbidden thus." Then if they testify, do not confirm them. And you should not follow the vain desires of those treat Our Signs as falsehoods, and those who believe not in the Hereafter, and they hold others as equal with their Lord.
151. Say, "Come I will rehearse what your Lord has prohibited you from." Join not anything in worship with God, be good and dutiful to your parents, kill not your children because of poverty- God provides sustenance for you and them, commit not shameful acts whether secretly or openly, and take not life for Allah forbids it except for just cause. Thus has God commanded you that you may understand.

Liver and onions
Hello Ladies! How are you today? I hope you are feeling and doing absolutely great. It's a chaotic day here today! Not me in particular, just everyone else chasing the dollar. I did pay my bills and do some shopping today, but I managed to stay within my budget. I am running late with this post though, sorry about that. Whenever I have rice for dinner, it always makes me late for everything else I have on my agenda that evening. A rice dinner is always so labor intensive, to cook, to eat, to clean up. Actually, it was liver and onions with rice. Do you like liver? It's supposed to be very good for your blood, which in turn is good for your hair. We all want shiny and healthy hair, right? I found some Australian beef liver going for quite cheap at the supermarket, so I decided that was dinner. I like liver. I wonder if I have enough left to grill...

Qur'an 20190227
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
142. And of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat of what Allah has provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan. Surely he is to you an open enemy.
143. Eight in pairs: of the sheep a pair and of goats a pair. Say, "Has God forbidden the two males or which the wombs of the two females enclose? Inform me with knowledge if you are truthful."
144. And of camels a pair and of oxen a pair. Say, "Has God forbidden the two males or the two females or which the wombs of the two females enclose? Were you present when Allah ordered you such a thing? Then who does more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead humans astray without knowledge. Certainly Allah guides not the people who are wrongdoers."
145. Say, "I find not in that which has been revealed to me anything forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be carrion, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine, for it is an abomination, or what is impious on which a name has been invoked other than Allah's. But if a person were forced by necessity without willful disobedience nor transgressing due limits, certainly your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
146. And unto those who are Jews, We forbade them every with undivided hoof, and We forbade them the fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone. This in recompense for their willful disobedience, for We are True.
(The Cattle 6:142-146)

Tuesday
Hello Ladies! How are you today? Is life being good to you? I hope everything is fun and easy for you. It's Tuesday, and I have to get to the mosque by sunset, so I have to post and run. Please forgive me if I sound hurried. Lunch today was burger and mushroom tortillas. I bought some oyster mushrooms last night at the night market. And there's nothing a fresh tortilla. You must learn how to make your dough and bread. I will teach you inshaAllah. If you want to figure it out yourself, remember that practice is perfect. You're not going to figure out how to make good dough and bread if you only make it once in a while. Everyday! Well, almost everyday if you can. It helps to have a nice oven. I don't have a nice oven, so I resort to deep frying or tortillas.
Did you see the new season of "The Voice"? That girl who made all the coaches turn is pretty good. I'm not going to say what makes good or bad, just in case I happen to be the person to beat. Even though I don't compete. Allah is my Boss!

Aw Natty
You poor, beautiful little creature. Now don't you worry about a thing, my precious Sweetheart. Everything is going to be all right, everything is going to turn out absolutely great for us inshaAllah. You are so beautiful, and I love you so much. So please have faith, and pray.
Did you watch the Oscars, by the way? I haven't paid much attention to the Oscars in years, I just glance at what's going on in the entertainment section of Yahoo. I guess I'm not the type to bawl over a statuette, not that anybody would award me anything of the sort anyway since I'm not under contract with any of them nor their associates.
Sigh! This blog seems so naked without the snapshots of the outfits I wear for my set each day. But I'm not in the mood right now to dress up since I not allowed to stream. Maybe after a while, I'll go back and dress up just for the fun of it. Right now since I have all that extra time, I just relax and watch TV. Yeah I still have lots to do, I'm just a lazy butt. If I had my girl with me, and air conditioning, it would be bliss.
