Ah!

I finally got my appetite back.  So I planned to make fettucine alfredo with chicken for dinner.  But I'm still missing ingredients.  Even more than the last time I made chicken alfredo pasta, so it turned out even less perfecto than the last time.  I simply forgot to pick up the right stuff when I was at the supermarket, compromised to use what I had left in the cooler, and couldn't go out to get it when I needed it because it was raining.  All 3.  Well it doesn't taste bad, and it looks great, but it needs to be perfecto.  Are you feeling agitated, Honey?  Well relax, you've done this life a million times already, the only difference is that your stage got a lot bigger.  So strut your stuff and enjoy the attention.

How about you, Natty honey?  Are you feeling agitated too?  I'm definitely feeling agitated.  It's because I had to make my chicken alfredo pasta dinner with 4 vicious beasts hounding me and ready to pounce on my food while I'm still trying to cook it.  All of them waiting to make their move when I'm forced to turn my back on them and use the sink.  Yeah I could have locked up all the cats in the kitty litter room, but I didn't.  So it's another case of something I did to myself.  You need to learn to relax, and waste time.  Get a hobby!  Something you can do on your cell phone or laptop while you wait around.  Just be the wife of a Rock Star, and enjoy the ride.

Don't you think my shoes are so cute?  I just got a whole load of really cute shoes, and I just can't wait to try them out.  Depending on the outfit, of course.  Last night was my "average girl" look.

Of course you're going to have to go home, Erin Honey.  We both may be Pisces, but we don't have the reputation of being flaky.  Right?  It's almost time for the Super Bowl, and Ross is going to need his American Princess.  Sigh.  Life isn't supposed to be perfect.  You may have had a glimpse of the perfect feeling on that tropical beach, probably for much longer than most mortals could ever dream of, but it is balanced with a whole lot of ice and snow.  So go on home to the millions of men who want to marry you.  You are probably feeling your role as Mrs Global more intensely right now, and you are understanding how global economics work.  It's OK Erin, it's just a part of being successful, so put your fear in God not people.  Please be cautious with your next post.  Don't be afraid, just be cautious.  I love you.

Just average folk

Hi Honey!  How's it going over there?  Are you ready to join the rest of us in the wet and cold?  You can always stay a Caribbean Queen until the weather heats up before you go back to all those nice, packaged meals.  You don't HAVE to go back now...  Oh it's not snowing over here, but the heat wave has yet to kick in.  I'm still a bit queasy, but I got my energy back.  Ugh, the chili I made was too spicy.  I might have to throw the whole lot away.  I have to keep everything bland, and oh so normal.  For dinner I had 6 pieces of the nugget part of the chicken sandwiched between slices of bread with a slice of cheese.  Want some?

Natty honey!  How are your feet?  Oh your poor, pretty little feet!  Too much time walking around in the wet and snow.  Make sure you wear a couple of layers of dry socks, and maybe soak those tootsies in hot water at night.  Still doing shopping?  You know that if you have to pay for your own clothes, you can take photos of them and post them on your Instagram, and set fashion trends...  After all, you are my girl!  Now stop counting your fingers Honey, I want to be with you too.  But I have to take care of you, and it must be done right.  Right?  Please be patient.

Oh I just got a whole lot of new shoes, and I'm so excited!  I just want to stay on the computer and organize my shoe folder, but I have so much other stuff to do.  But they're so CUTE!....

 

 

 

 

Oh the things we do to ourselves...

Hi Erin!  My, that's a pretty dress you have on there.  It certainly matches the tune I have in my head right now.  You're so pretty!  Oh, I'm doing OK today.  I'm still a bit nauseous, but I think I've learned my lesson, again.  Sigh.  I knew better, but I broke my own rule.  Maybe I forgot?  Maybe I'm just stupid.  I didn't do much today, just slept and slept and slept.  I got through voice training OK, it actually didn't sound bad at all, but singing made me want to throw up.  I didn't though.   I didn't eat much today, just a cheeseburger in the morning and a cheeseburger in the evening.  Extra bland.

Natty, have you been doing some shopping?  Oh, don't tell me you spend your money on CLOTHES?  Your bosses should be giving you free clothes.  You provide better promotion for clothes than any fashion magazine right now, 24/7.  It's because you're so pretty!

13.  Those who lagged behind will say when you march and take booty, "Permit us to follow you."  They wish to change Allah's decree.  Say, "Not thus will you follow us.  Allah has declared beforehand."  Then they will say, "But you are jealous of us."  No, but little do they understand.

14.  Say to the Arabs who lagged behind, "You shall be summoned to fight a people given to vehement war: then shall you fight, or they shall submit.  Then if you show obedience, Allah will grant you a goodly reward, but if you turn back as you did before, God will punish you with a grievous penalty."

Hmm

I counted the rings on those clams again, and I counted about 160 years on the oldest clam.  So I guess they're not as old as I thought, but 160 years old is still pretty old, don't you agree?  When I first cooked up the clams, I ate all the meat and I had a lot of broth, so I put the broth in the freezer.  No problems.  The next day, I made soup with the broth, but I still had a lot left over, so I put that back in the freezer.  And there is the problem: I didn't follow my own rule not to keep leftovers past one day.  The next day, I cooked my noodles in the broth for lunch.  And I have been nauseous all day.  I was still able to work, but late in the evening I had to stick my finger down my throat and puke the whole mess out.  Ugh.  I feel better now, but I need to follow my own advice.  Honey, absolutely no leftovers past one day OK?  At least I know what to do about those clams now- never buy them again.
