Letter to Julia 20110626
Dearest Julia, how's life in high fashion today? Most certainly, beautiful clothes suit you, as you are so lovely, my dearest. I certainly need some nice new clothes, especially shoes, for everything I have has been worked to the bone. I have something new for the next Eid, which is about 2 months away. Yes, fasting month is next month or so. I wonder if you have tried fasting? Just do your best with what God has given you: as long as your worship is sincere then insyaAllah, everything will be OK.
While I have stepped down in food and clothing, Chee Cheah has stepped up. Yeah, I adore cats, so I always spoil the ones who stay with me. But in this case, I can't afford packaged cat food, so I make fresh food for little Chee Cheah. My staple right now is rice and mackerel. Whenever I buy mackerel, I fillet the whole lot, and separate the flesh, the bones, the roe, and the heads, then keep them in the freezer. The fish heads I fry up until crispy for her, and I also give her a whole fillet which I steam up with the rice. The fish is best for her skin and fur I think. I also mix up some fish with fresh rice for her. This morning, I served her leftovers, and she gave me a "What?" look. Hold on, let me see if she finished her food... no, she didn't. What a little snob.
But it would be nice to have some new clothes and shoes. I don't pass anymore, so dresses are out of the question until the next life. Which probably makes you happy: less competition! Playing drums was my downfall: since I started playing drums, I became bulky, and God gave me a body to bust skulls with. Also, I'm certainly not young anymore. You be the pretty one for both of us Julia. Besides, I'd rather stare at you than at the mirror. Anyway, I could sure use a fresh pair of jungle boots, and some Doc Martens. Jungle boots are made in China so I might find some here, but Doc Martens are impossible to come by around these here parts.
As I watch Shadowplay TV, I see many fashion designers. I really like Vera Wang... she's so bubbly! I also think Carolina Herrera is very stylish. Oddly enough, I don't see Karl Lagerfeld on TV at all. Isaac Mizrahi comes up a lot. He seems like a nice enough guy, but he should be careful about his food, otherwise he will be busting out of his clothes, which is unflattering for the clothes. But then again, he's been hanging out with some spiritual losers. I don't hang out anymore, I just work. I guess that means that I only hang out with children, and cats. But I would like to have some new clothes anyway.
Don't these guys kind of look like thugs? Nowadays, the thug look is chic. But it also adds some flair to the topic of the song they're singing.

Qur'an 20110626
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
28. When they do something that is shameful, they say: "We found our fathers doing so," and "Allah commanded us thus." Say, "No, Allah never commands what is shameful. Do you say of Allah what you know not?"
29. Say, "My Lord has commanded justice, and that you set your whole selves at every time and place of prayer, and call upon God, making your devotion sincere as in God's sight. Such as God created you in the beginning, so shall you return."
30. Some God has guided. Others have deserved the loss of their way, in that they took the evil ones, in preference to Allah, for their friends and protectors, and think that they receive guidance.
31. O children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer. Eat and drink, but waste not by excess, for Allah loves not the wasters.
32. Say, "Who has forbidden the beauty of Allah, which God has produced for God's servants, and the things, clean and pure, for sustenance?" Say, "They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, purely for them on the Day of Judgment." Thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who understand.
33. Say, "The things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret, sins and trespasses against truth or reason, assigning of partners to Allah, for which God has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge."
34. To every people is a term appointed. When their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor can they advance.
The Heights 7:28-34

No, Allah never commands what is shameful. Do you say of Allah what you know not?
My Lord has commanded justice, and that you set your whole selves at every time and place of prayer, and call upon God, making your devotion sincere as in God's sight. Such as God created you in the beginning, so shall you return.

Letter to Julia 20110622
Hi Julia, my beloved. Are you being a good girl? I am doing OK, and I thoroughly enjoy having lots of time, broke as I am. I made some prawn injections last night (oh all right, I suppose the correct name is croquettes) with chopped shrimp heads mixed into the batter. And you know how much I love shrimp heads. I must buy some jumbo shrimp in the future, insyaAllah.
Are you making some Muslim friends as I asked you to? Don't try too hard, just do your best. If you have followed this path of adventure, then you would have discovered that there are many sects of Islam, many "isms" per se. Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) counted 73 different sects of Islam by the time Judgement Day comes about. The correct one is that of prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) and those who follow him. Sure, anyone can say that they follow the prophet (peace be on him), but who can PRECISELY follow him, and the commands of the Qur'an, without distortion? I would certainly be hesitant to follow his followers. But as for the sects, just leave them alone. God will deal with them on a one-to-one basis.
I'm sure you can already see all the corruption prevalent in daily life, that is why it is so unique for you to be good, and be righteous, because everyone else accepts the corruption to be "normal", and "practical". Certainly you are being tried for the gift of great beauty that God has given you, so be good, and righteous. No one else can bear your burdens but you, so be good, and righteous. And be proactive in being good, and righteous. For example, if someone is warned about a giant army amassing against them, would they:
1. Wait until it becomes a problem before they do anything,
2. Say, "I'm too small and helpless", then lie back and allow themselves to be pounded,
3. Make preparations (with rhetoric in support) to join them?
Whatever happens, you are my girl, and I love you. Please pray for us, my love.

Qur'an 20110622
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
158. Are they waiting to see if the angels come to them, or your Lord, or certain of the Signs of your Lord! The day that certain of the Signs of your Lord does come, no good will it do to a soul to believe in them then, if it believed not before, nor earned righteousness through its Faith. Say, "Wait you: we too are waiting."
159. As for those who divide their religion, and break up into sects, you have no part in them in the least. Their affair is with Allah. God will, in the end, tell them the truth of all they did.
160. He that does good shall have ten times as much to his credit. He that does evil shall be recompensed according to his evil. No wrong shall be done unto them.
161. Say, "Verily, my Lord has guided me to a Way that is straight, a religion of Right, the Path of Abraham, the true in faith, and he joined not gods with Allah."
162. Say, "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are for Allah, the Cherisher of the worlds."
163. No partner has God. This am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to God's Will.
164. Say, "Shall I seek for cherisher other than Allah, when God is the Cherisher of all things? Every soul draws the results of its acts on none but itself. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah. God will tell you the truth of the things wherein you disputed."

Wait you: we too are waiting.

Most people want the Signs of God to manifest in reality before they have any faith. They want to be CERTAIN, they want something they can see, and touch. It's not enough for them to be warned that they are going to get their asses kicked, they just want to get their asses kicked. Only then will they believe. But that's not faith: that's MATERIALISM.

Letter to Julia 20110620
Have you been eating properly? I look at your photos, and sometimes I see that you are too thin, wearing a dress that's too small. One image that sticks out in my mind is an ad by Dolce and Gabbana, with 3 models (including you) in the forest- so emaciated! Do they think that's beauty? Or art? Such deathly thin models DO NOT flatter the clothes that they are wearing. If they want to show off a size 2 dress, then get a small model! Someone who's 5'2"! Don't force a model who is 5'11" into a size 2! I see everywhere many flattering photos of small women with beautiful clothes. Don't they know how to make people look good in photographs? Keep the girls healthy, and fit them with the right size!
Anyway, the message today is about those who forbid the sustenance of others. They come up with excuses to restrict food and income, so they can hog and control, for whatever reason. Some of them behave like mobsters, then expect others to consider them as civilized, and "developed"! And like those fashion photos, they think that other people don't notice. I remember Phoenix, Arizona which is close to Mexico. There is a huge number of undocumented aliens close to the border. The financial condition of many Mexicans is frustratingly poor, because most of the area is controled by mobsters. Owning a small business means getting a loan from the mob, because they are the ones with the money- drug money, that is. So these people run to the north to escape the iron fist, but they are illegal aliens. So it is easy for the iron fist to follow them. Though it's not as easy to enforce mob rule in USA as opposed to Mexico, it still gets done.
This is definitely a god complex, to forcibly restrict the sustenance of others. And anybody with a god complex (or follows a tyrant) certainly doesn't believe in God, because they hold others as equals to God: namely themselves. And they get away with it because they impose fear. However, there is always a bigger gun, and it could be pointing at them from thousands of miles away. And God holds the biggest gun of all.
Anyway, I would like you to stay at a size 7. I think you are naturally thin anyway, and filling out a size 7 is most flattering for you, and probably most healthy too. Go out and enjoy food with your buddies. The simple rules are: no pig, no carrion, no blood, and make sure you say, "In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful" before the first bite/sip. Have a ribeye steak for me! I can't afford meat right now, but the house my mother gave me has plenty of fruit trees, so I'm OK for now, alhamdulillah. Please pray for us, my beloved.

Qur'an 20110620
In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
142. Of the cattle are some for burden, and some for meat. Eat what Allah has provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan, for he is to you an avowed enemy.
143. Eight in pairs, of sheep a pair, and of goats a pair. Say, "Has God forbidden the two males, or the two females, or which the wombs of the two females enclose? Tell me with knowledge if you are truthful."
144. Of camels a pair, and of oxen a pair. Say, "Has God forbidden the two males, or the two females, or which the wombs of the two females enclose? Were you present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who does more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead men astray without knowledge? For Allah guides not people who do wrong."
145. Say, "I find not in the Message received by me by inspiration any forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine, for it is an abomination, or what is impious, on which a name has been invoked other than Allah's." But, if a person is forced by necessity, without willful disobedience, nor trangressing due limits, your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, most Merciful.
146. For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade all with undivided hoof, and We forbade them the fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone. This in recompense for their willful disobedience, for We are True.
147. If they accuse you of falsehood, say, "Your Lord is full of Mercy, All-Embracing." But from people in guilt, never will God's wrath be turned back.
148. Those who give partners will say, "If Allah had wished, we would not have given partners to God, nor would our fathers, nor would we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say, "Have you any knowledge? If so, produce it before us. You follow nothing but conjecture, you do nothing but lie."
149. Say, "With Allah is the argument that reaches home. If it had been God's Will, God could indeed have guided you all."
150. Say, "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not you amongst them, nor follow you the vain desires of such as treat Our Signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter, for they hold others as equals with their Guardian-Lord.
151. Say, "Come, I will rehearse what Allah has prohibited you from." Join not anything as equal with God. Be good to your parents. Kill not your children on a plea of want: We provide sustenance for you and them. Come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether open or secret. Take not life, which Allah has made sacred, except by way of justice and law. Thus does God command you, that you may learn wisdom.

But at best, nothing has changed since the time of prophet Muhammad (peace be on him). Many "Muslims" believe that Islam has advanced since the prophet (peace be on him) passed away, but he was the purest Muslim, and without him we have become corrupt. Rather, things have deteriorated since prophet Muhammad (peace be on him), as we are nearing Judgement Day. Humans still oppress, at all levels, in the name of power. Humans are using Islam as a tool to further their personal agenda. Instead, we humans are either the tools, or the fodder. There is a giant army amassing, or did you not notice?
We are all replacable, my Julia. Whatever power we think we have, can be transferred to others. Especially from the perspective of God, whatever talent or beauty we have can be transferred to others. We come from the lives of other people, thus we have our successors. Don't think the politics of where you are is better than where I am, Julia. It is the same everywhere, people are fooled by the material.
But to be positive, there is a balance for those who do good, so let that be us, my Julia. Hey Julia, don't fall off that skyscraper with all those diamonds around your neck. Here's my hand, let me catch you, my love. Please have faith in Allah, and look to the Hereafter, then if you believe in our love, Allah will bring us together. InsyaAllah.
