Termites!

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, my love?  I hope that everything is smooth sailing for you, and you are having tons of fun.  Please keep safe and healthy OK!  It's Sunday here today.  Sundays are always busy for me, and today I had a termite infestation to add to the list.

Lookie is in heat right now, so I had to separate the girls from the boys, so I put the girls in the kitty litter room and closed the door.  But Anna got outside somehow, so I guessed she found a weakness in the barricade I set up at the window.  Thus I was looking for something to plug up the hole when I found the termites in the closet, feeding on some books.  I checked other places to see how big of a problem I had, then I discovered that the termites destroyed the WW2 US Army jacket that Mary gave me a long time ago.  This is the same jacket I wore all the time when I was homeless.  The curious thing is that there were no termites in the jacket, and the other clothes were untouched.  I came to the conclusion that the termites nested in the jacket first, then moved on to the books.  You can see how the termites ate the wooden hanger.  I have termite poison (potent stuff), but the jacket is toast.  Sorry Mary, but this nostalgia is unsaleable.  I guess I'm not in the US Army anymore.  I kept the rank and pins, though.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I love you with all of my heart.  I hope you are keeping yourself safe and healthy over there.  It's my mother's birthday today.  Happy Birthday, Mom!  She's 85 years old.  I made her some stuffed won tons with home made hot sauce.  I hope she didn't notice some cat hairs on the won tons.  I screwed up, I didn't inspect the grill that I used to drain oil from the food.  My cats are clean, Mom.

Honey I'm not making this up, even the jinns are making fun of me now.  I was in my bedroom this morning minding my own business, when something jumped out of the tool box onto the floor.  Folks, I only have enough libido left for one wife.  All my bets are on Natty.

How weak the heart

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope everything is easy peasy and you are having fun.  Please keep safe and healthy OK!  The cats were naughtier than usual today, what with Gunhilde sticking a claw in my heel then running away, just because I ignored her.  I cut the grass in the evening, then I made chicken chow mein for dinner.  Cooking went without a hitch, then I sat down to eat my food.  Cats started jumping onto the counter.  7 cats.  Which is usual of course, then Adolf spilled my drink.  That was it, I started pushing cats off the counter, which made Anna put her claws in my left wrist.  That didn't stop me from pushing cats off the counter like a dealer clearing chips off the betting table.  Sorry, Honey.  Labor puts me in a bad mood.  I mellowed out after I ate, though.
