Movie night

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I'm sure it's serious business.  But don't worry so much, OK!  You're having fun, right!  Don't let worry spoil your fun.  I wish I were with you, but somebody has to be here, namely me.  Otherwise, we wouldn't be global.  I've been feeling distracted all day.  It's as if I were in a parallel universe.  Speaking of which, it's movie night!  

Will you watch a movie with me?  "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (2022).  As a movie, it's all steak and no potatoes.  Meaning that there's little frivolity.  I like that.  I like a good steak.  What about magic, though?  Is magic real?  Being that countless people practice it, then it's real enough.  Being that atheists believe in magic over God, then it's real enough.  Which is strange, because believing in magic is kind of stupid while atheists don't seem like stupid people.  There doesn't seem to be any difference between sorcery and witchcraft, it's all the same.  One party thinks it's good over evil, while the other party thinks the same.  Book of Vishanti, the Darkhold, they're the same.  The Qur'an is more powerful than any book of magic, because it's not magic but the Word of God.  And it's great to have love be the motivator of actions in this movie.  Jealousy is a much more common motivator, though.

I tried my hand again at making a quiche today.  It was another failure, but not as dismal as yesterday.  That's because I couldn't get myself to waste the other dough ball from the same bad batch of dough.  I managed to roll it out into some semblance of a pie crust, but there were so many holes in it that the eggs leaked through.  Well, it's about time I cleaned my toaster oven.  So what I ended up with was a pizza shaped bread with an egg glaze.  No worries, I'll keep on trying.  It tasted good anyway, dipped in my latest batch of ranch dressing.  I made it extra strong this time.

Here are my picks from the Elie Saab SPRING 2022 COUTURE collection.  The pink gowns are excellent, but I don't think the flower petal motif worked all the time.  It looks more like a chicken motif.  So close, Elie!  So much good stuff!  You could be the big winner in the SPRING 2022 COUTURE competition!

 Hi Natty!  Hi Princess!  How are you today?  I hope that people are treating you like royalty.  Because you are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart.  I've had a busy day today, while feeling sluggish.  I did my laundry in the morning.  The outlet hose for my washer broke, so I had to find some sort of replacement.  Which I found in an old vacuum cleaner hose, and lots of scotch tape later I was able to get my laundry done.  High fashion, huh!

My first attempt at making a quiche was a dismal failure.  The dough was unstable, I couldn't even roll it out.  That's the price I pay for not making dough everyday.  I forgot how.  Humans are forgetful creatures.  I've been eating rice everyday for some reason.  I have another dough ball, but it's the same batch.  I'll try again tomorrow, perhaps I can find a way to make it work.  I was hoping to have quiche for dinner today.  But instead, I had to chuck that floppy crust away and quickly put on a pot of rice.  Don't worry Honey, I'll get my chops back inshaAllah.  It's almost the Great Pizza Day.

Too much food is a prank

 

Hi Natty!  How are you?  It must be awfully exciting for you over there.  Happy 4th of July, by the way!  Oh, but you're not American.  You're probably not even in America.  Sigh... travel is truly for the young.  Add glitz and glamor to that, and you must be having a marvelous time.  Now don't you worry about me.  I've already chosen you, and I'm a pretty stubborn guy.  You just enjoy the ride, be MY girl and be faithful OK!

I never prank my cats.  I'm very serious about their health, trust and happiness.  They are my friends, and my precious kitties.  I'm very serious about the food they eat and the snacks I give them.  So I always try to give them exactly what they need.  InshaAllah.  This goes for you too, Natty.  If you happen to get too much of anything, then you must know that it's a prank.  You are being watched for your reaction.  So please have modest desires.

Hi Natty!  Oh, floating boobies!  Not yours, I presume.  You and your buddies must be back in Paris for work.  Did your friends manage to get back to work because they are friends of yours?  That's cool.  Keep it in the family.  Those are some nice girlie pictures Honey, but I expect you've deleted the naughty photos.  I wanna see, I wanna see!

Dammit, I made my pickle brine too salty!  My pickles are already turning into sludge, and I only had a 2 day window of perfection.  I had to blend the rest into relish.  I had to sweeten it a bit, so I added honey.  I don't have any sugar in my house.  It tastes pretty good, though.

The quiche that James Bond made has a sculptured crust, unlike the one that you ate which was made in a circle pan.  I don't know how he made that sculptured crust, it looks like each segment is an equally sized strip of dough.  I only have a toaster oven, because I'm not like you and I'm broke as hell.  But I can still try to make a quiche for you.  I've never made one before, and I have to adapt to the toaster oven.  InshaAllah it will turn out OK and photogenic, but it might take me a couple of tries.  It's a good thing I have plenty of eggs right now.
