Nostalgia

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  Are you languishing on the couch and eating bon-bons?  That must be nice, I hope you are having a wonderful time.  Hey check it out, it's Plastic and Nathalie!  You probably wouldn't know them, but this song happens to be nostalgia to me.  My big brother was messing around in Belgium back in 1981 as far as I recall, and he brought back a tape of European songs.  When I first heard this song I thought, "What a funny sounding language!"  But it's all about how you use your paint, my dear.  Most European songs are cringeworthy.  Have you heard the Eurovision?  But this is nostalgia, so I will remember it.  Nostalgia will sell to those who remember it.  It makes me think that maybe nothing that I liked when I was a kid was of any good.

Mary's avatar is wearing one of those short dresses again.  I think hemlines at mid-thigh are sexiest.  I don't particularly like this dress, but the hair and the backdrop tone it down a little, so I decided not to waste it.  Those shoes are nice, don't you agree?  I couldn't afford the fat pack though.

Oh dear, I like a lot of the Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection 2022, especially that trumpet hem skirt.  I might have spent 600 grand here.  I don't understand what "Cosmic Volleyball" means, but as a graphic it only looks good on a home made T-shirt.  I think these guys are best at nostalgia.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope that everything is going well for you.  I'm just sitting here writing my blog as usual, and waiting for them to call the prayer.  I made some sardine rolls with yesterday's dough.  I cooked them on a flat pan (for tortillas).  Next time, I will deep fry them like curry pups.  Tasty batch of dough, though.

Adolf Kitler has become so hard to photograph.  He refuses to pose anymore.  But I had to take a snapshot of him, because he's a VIP.  A Very Important Pussycat.  He has a VIP peepee.  A Very Important Peepee.  It can make kittens!  Kittens are a big deal around here.  Huge.

Hi Natty! How are you, Honey?  Are you hungry?  You can share my dinner with me.  It's leftover noodles from yesterday, but still good.  Before that, I made a batch of dough.  I accidentally put in too much grease, but it tasted so good, I was eating the dough raw.  I went downtown for lunch today.  I often have Omar's rice vermicelli soup, he's located in the old part of town in front of the courthouse complex.  His stall was always bustling, but now they built a new courthouse complex a couple of miles away.  It's a modern and fancy place sitting right smack dab in the middle of rice fields, so it really stands out.  So now the street where poor Omar's stall is located has many empty parking spots.  I feel bad for the guy, I like him and his rice vermicelli soup, but I can't eat it everyday.

Mary's outfit today is a bit risqué, so I had to censor the snapshots.  It's French, I guess.  Mary doesn't dress like her avatar.  In real life, she dresses like a nun.

I have a soft spot for Chanel because of Karl-baby.  I went there last night.  The site was easy to navigate, and right at the top was its latest collection.  This is what I like from Chanel Spring-Summer 2022:

High on fashion

 Hi Natty!  How's it going, Sweetheart?  Are you having a fabulous time over there?  I sure hope so!  I just got back from the mosque, then prayed the sunset prayer.  Yeah I forgot the damned mask, so I went back to get it but I ran out of time and had to pray by myself.  I had fried noodles for dinner, want some?  The drippings from making roast beef make a great noodle fond, but I didn't use the roast beef for it.  Instead, I used some Australian beef liver which was going for cheap at the big supermarket downtown.  It worked.  It tasted like fried noodles but with liver, and not in an offensive way.

Mary's outfit is Western flavored today.  I love these old Native American photos!  I have a whole lot of them.

So I'm through with trawling the fashion magazines.  Instead, I'm going to just see if the fashion designers have anything pretty to wear.  I learned a valuable lesson from shopping for clothes for Mary's avatar, and the lesson is:  you can buy garbage at any price.  Why pay ridiculous prices to look ridiculous?  Of course, one person's trash is another person's treasure.  However, I am the one who dresses Mary up.

Google gave me a list of the top 10 most powerful fashion houses, so I'm going to rotate through this list and hope I see something nice:
