Hi Natty! How are you? I hope you are safe and healthy. I read in the news about the latest wildfires, I hope you are not affected. It's good that your family came to visit you, and help alleviate your loneliness. I have my family right next door, and I feel terrible loneliness.
But Allah has always been nice to me, and that keeps me going. It's BBQ time! Your folks can come join my BBQ if they want. Sorry, no wine. No swine, either. Just half a chicken, and unsweetened iced tea with aloe vera chunks. I wish I had beef ribs, but I would have eaten all of it. The sauce isn't that great, because it's based on the same crummy ketchup I wrote about before. The flavor improves significantly when burned by charcoal. My concrete grill disintegrated! I hadn't used it in years. So I had to build a makeshift one, which you can see above. Yes, I built a full fire. When I needed less heat, I pulled the food towards me. Want some BBQ chicken?

Hi Natty! How are you feeling today? I hope that all is well with you, and you are having a wonderful time. You are the most beautiful girl to me and I love you with all of my heart. Please don't worry, everything will work out well for us inshaAllah. What did I do today? Today is Friday, and I went to Friday prayer for the first time in over a month. That's because of another lockdown, and the mosque was closed. The lockdown is still in effect nationwide, but this state has had a very low Covid infection rate. So low that the king allowed Friday prayers again. Islam commands precaution of course, but such a low infection rate is clearly a gift from God. The locals should give thanks to God and use this opportunity to build up some economic muscle, especially in food, agriculture and Internet businesses.
In the evening I prepared the chicken for tomorrow's BBQ. Ah, it's been a while since I made BBQ. I hope I don't overeat, but I like my cooking. Allah gave me some knowledge in cooking, alhamdulillah. My approach to BBQ chicken is pretty standard. I precook the chicken in the BBQ sauce the day before, refrigerate it, then grill the chicken until the insides are hot and there's a nice char on the outside. Dripping with BBQ sauce, of course. Eaten at the grill!

Lookie has been doing wonders since I placed her on a permanent ban from my bedroom. She's not the nervous kitty she once was, and she has a full coat of fur! Thus she has been spending all her time with Adolf Kitler, and very little time with me. She slaps him around a lot (even though he's bigger than her), that's love for you I guess. Now she's going into heat again. This is it, Natty. This heat she's going to get pregnant inshaAllah. She's spent her entire life inside my house, and now she's almost 7 years old. But Allah gave her a mate, and it's now or never for her to have kittens. Ya Allah, please heal and protect all my kitties. Please give them long, happy lives and dignified deaths.
In this Venice Beach Boardwalk video tour, there are significantly less encampments than the previous video I posted. I would guess 30% less tents.

I did buy a big block of cheese today for the Great Pizza Day! Well it's about a kilo, which is a big block to my budget. I have have all the basil I need too. But basil needs to be cleverly harvested, otherwise I will have withered or mottled leaves on Great Pizza Day. Timing is crucial! I also gave in to gluttony and bought a chicken for BBQ. I haven't cooked BBQ chicken in years! Not that I don't want to, but BBQ was making me bloated. I also scored a whole lot of free livers and giblets, because people don't know what to do with them. I don't eat the giblets, but the cats love them. I need to cook them up before they become rancid, so it looks like Lookie and Adolf Kitler are going to be porking out on giblets for the next few days.
