Hi Natty! How's my beautiful princess doing today? I'm sure the atmosphere around you is electric right now, and people are very excited. Do try to keep yourself safe and healthy OK? You're MY girl, you belong to the both of us now. I'm not really into politics, myself. I'm a musician, not a politician. But I'll have to admit that this US election is an interesting one because of the virus and all that. The past few days where they had been counting the last votes have been pretty dull, though. I didn't catch all of Biden's victory speech. The only part I caught was what was blaring out of my Dad's TV when I was mopping the floor in my mother's bedroom, when Biden was yelling out, "AMERICA NEVER GIVES UP!" It's almost like he's telling Trump not to give up. Well, yeah. The last part of the elections was really boring. We all need more entertainment.
Sunday is supposed to be black! But I forgot, and I chose Halloween green instead for Mary Unknown7. Tomorrow will be black to compensate.
Hi Natty! How's it going? Are you having fun waiting around with the others? I think people are getting bored. Anyway, I hope you are keeping safe and healthy. It's another routine day for me over here, doing more of the same old same old. I cooked up some lentil fritters and fried curry noodles for lunch. I wanted something really simple for dinner, so I made teriyaki chicken on white rice. How's about a movie? I think I posted this movie before, but you didn't get to watch it. It's on YouTube so it's free to watch, but it has no subtitles. Don't worry, I'll write up a synopsis for you to help make this movie easier for you to digest. It's called "Sumpah Orang Minyak" (Curse of the Oily Man).
Once upon a time in an ancient Malay village at the turn of the 20th century, there was a deformed hunchback named Si Bongkok, the son of a man who allegedly committed crimes towards the village. As such, he is persecuted by the locals but he makes a friend of a sidewalk dress merchant, who discovers that Si Bongkok has a talent for art and fashion design. Si Bongkok makes another friend of a pretty local girl, who saves him from local thugs. He falls in love with her and tries to deliver to her at a party a portrait he made of her, only to be hounded again by the locals. He escapes the village, and eventually finds himself at the mercy of a magical tribe. They shower him with luxury and women (they said they are to help him because God told them to), and the boss told him to choose a spell out of a magic book that would grant him one wish. He chooses to become beautiful and after the wish is granted, he is told never to kill anyone. He then goes to show himself to the girl he loves, then she gets killed by the head of the local thugs, and he then kills the head of the local thugs. The boss of the magic tribe revokes his gift, and Si Bongkok becomes invisible. He flees into the jungle in shame only to be confronted by the devil, who promises Si Bongkok would regain his beauty if he becomes an Oily Man and assaults a certain amount of women. Si Bongkok agrees, goes on his oily rampage and is eventually caught by the boss of the magical tribe, who imprisons him in a glass jar.
Hi Natty! How are you today? I hope all is well with you, and you are keeping safe. It's Friday over here for me, and nothing much going on but the same old same old. I had to attend the Friday prayer, of course. They talked about conserving water in the sermon. The Friday sermon is the same for every mosque in the state. Islamic activity is monitored and managed by the state government, and the boss official is called the mufti. I have no rank within the local nor global Islamic hierarchy. I am a commoner, which is what I should be, because I am a musician. I finally got to finish cooking my beef jerky today. It's a sweet batch, and definitely made for snacking, even though I made it hot. That's because I used fresh hot peppers, which are easier on the stomach. Would you like to try some?
Hi Natty! How are you today, my precious darling? I'm guessing that you are as excited and possibly agitated as the people around you. Don't you worry about a thing, my love. Everything is going to work out just great for us inshaAllah. You are so beautiful to me, and I love you with all of my heart. I'm going to marry you inshaAllah. This evening I went outside to check see if the weather permitted me to do yard work. It looked like rain, but maybe not. It drizzled lightly on me, then perhaps not. I guess Allah gave me the option of doing yard work or not (it didn't rain, but I didn't know that until later). So I chose the lazy option, and made a batch of beef jerky instead. This time, I wanted to make it sweet and spicy. I used up the last 2 tablespoons of the kilo of sugar that I had in my cooler since before the Covid started. That should give you an estimate of how much sugar I consume. I like sweet things, I'm just not addicted to them. Anyway, I made curry pups at the same time. The beef jerky isn't finished yet. I have to cook it for a long time at very low heat, and I can't let it cook unsupervised. So I have to cook it a couple of hours at a time, and it should be done tomorrow evening. Do you want some beef jerky? There's plenty, you know.
Hi Natty! How are you today, my beautiful princess? People in your area are obviously hyped up today, so please try to avoid them and stay indoors and out of sight. Yes Honey, it is exciting. It's almost like a sports event, but with old men. I don't watch sports though. I do like to cook, especially now that I don't have to work in the food business anymore. Allah gave me the evening off, so I stayed in the kitchen. I made dough, I made curry pup stuffing, and I made my dinner, which was chicken tenders and fries. I made a discovery today. I had leftover flour from coating the chicken with flour, I had leftover egg from dunking the chicken in the egg, and I had leftover breadcrumbs from coating the chicken in breadcrumbs. So I poured the leftover egg into the leftover flour and stirred it up. It made a batter, right? Then I carefully poured that batter over the leftover breadcrumbs and carefully folded the breadcrumbs onto the batter so the batter was encapsulated in breadcrumbs. When the time was right, I scooped up the batter that was coated with breadcrumbs with a spoon and laid it into the hot grease. It came out like a chicken tender, except the batter had turned into a sort of bread. So basically I wound up with a crispy chewy breadstick that was coated with crunchy breadcrumbs. It was a surprising success.
It's bikini time for Mary Unknown7's avatar! But it's November! Everyday is bikini weather in Second Life! Mary can't wear a bikini in real life, and she's even shy about it in Second Life, so today was a rarity. I noticed after the photo shoot that her hands were too small. Mary said she didn't notice that. She did notice yesterday however that her butt was too big, so she told me to fix that. We recently got a new mesh head for Mary's avatar, and a mesh head has to be used with the shape that is provided with it. The last mesh head, an Akeruka Limited Edition, had a nice body that we had worked on and gotten used to. Now that we switched to the Catwa HDPRO, we are still in the process of reprogramming the body.
Hi Natty! What's going on over there? Have you caught election fever? I suppose it's kind of an interesting one this time. I think it might get rowdy, so please try to stay indoors and avoid people. It's another average day here for me. The cat keeps on taking my knee pillow, so I went downtown to buy another one. I ate out for lunch. Today's theme ingredient is rice vermicelli: soup for lunch, fried for dinner. I suppose I could have cooked something else, but instead of buying ingredients I bought junk food. And I had a lot of rice vermicelli at home, so there you go. These are a couple of snapshots on Google, not exactly what I made nor ate but I don't really bother taking photos of my food anymore. Too lazy. Stock photos will do. Want some?
Hi Natty! How are you? I hope all is well with you. Now don't you worry so much, just relax and enjoy being at the top of the food chain. Speaking of which, I just finished my dinner. I had to lock Lookie and Lily up in the kitty litter room so they're not constantly in my face while I'm trying to eat. Bro is a good boy though, so I don't have to lock him up (unless I'm preparing cat food). He still begs a little for a taste, but he's not as aggressive and tenacious as the girls. I can't give them anymore snacks! Why? Because they get diarrhea, that's why! And I'm the one who has to clean it up! Besides, they get the best cat food in the world, prepared with love and caution by my own personal chef. Anyway, I had to spend money at the night market so that's where I got my dinner. Apart from the usual stuff, there was something new: a guy was selling takoyaki. A local interpretation of takoyaki rather, as I can't imagine the locals eating octopus. So I went ahead and bought some. There was no octopus of course, but I had mine with dried squid. It was good. I have no complaints.
