Yet another average day

 Hi Natty!  What's going on over there?  Have you caught election fever?  I suppose it's kind of an interesting one this time.  I think it might get rowdy, so please try to stay indoors and avoid people.  It's another average day here for me.  The cat keeps on taking my knee pillow, so I went downtown to buy another one.  I ate out for lunch.  Today's theme ingredient is rice vermicelli: soup for lunch, fried for dinner.  I suppose I could have cooked something else, but instead of buying ingredients I bought junk food.  And I had a lot of rice vermicelli at home, so there you go.  These are a couple of snapshots on Google, not exactly what I made nor ate but I don't really bother taking photos of my food anymore.  Too lazy.  Stock photos will do.  Want some?

Takoyaki

 Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope all is well with you.  Now don't you worry so much, just relax and enjoy being at the top of the food chain.  Speaking of which, I just finished my dinner.  I had to lock Lookie and Lily up in the kitty litter room so they're not constantly in my face while I'm trying to eat.  Bro is a good boy though, so I don't have to lock him up (unless I'm preparing cat food).  He still begs a little for a taste, but he's not as aggressive and tenacious as the girls.  I can't give them anymore snacks!  Why?  Because they get diarrhea, that's why!  And I'm the one who has to clean it up!  Besides, they get the best cat food in the world, prepared with love and caution by my own personal chef.  Anyway, I had to spend money at the night market so that's where I got my dinner.  Apart from the usual stuff, there was something new: a guy was selling takoyaki.  A local interpretation of takoyaki rather, as I can't imagine the locals eating octopus.  So I went ahead and bought some.  There was no octopus of course, but I had mine with dried squid.  It was good.  I have no complaints.

Just another average day

 Hi Natty!  How are you, my darling?  Are you healthy and having fun?  I hope you are.  It's just another average day here for me.  Today is Sunday, and I had to clean my mother's bedroom as usual in the morning.  I always eat takeout rice for Sunday lunch, so I don't have to cook.  I did cook my dinner though.  I made teriyaki chicken again, with ginger.  It tasted exactly like teriyaki chicken on rice, but with ginger.  I made another batch of cat food at the same time.  The cats really like my recipe.  It must be like ice cream to them.  In fact, I keep the cat food in an old plastic ice cream container.  Deliciously creamy!  Fish ice cream!

The Catwa hdpro Majer mesh head

 Hi Natty!  How's life today as a Hollywood star?  Yeah this is it, this is the gig, even though everyone always expects something different.  Try to relax and enjoy yourself, and don't get worked up about little things.  Take your time.  How about a hobby?  Instead of social media, how about you master a video game?  Second Life, perhaps?  I had the opportunity to invest in Mary Unknown7's avatar, so I took it.  Get it while you can, you know what I mean?  I bought her the Catwa hdpro Majer mesh head.  It's not necessarily prettier than the Akeruka limited edition head she's been using.  After all, Mary has a certain look that she wants to maintain, so a new mesh head isn't going to deviate from that look.  What makes this mesh head better is that it's more expressive: she can smile much easier now!  It also seems to have a built in face light, which not only illuminates the face but the whole avatar, making it brighter than other avatars.  Some people would call that cheating, but I like face lights.  So Mary will be using the Catwa Majer mesh head from now on.  You can compare it below with the Akeruka head, tell me which one you like better.  I also bought her the Slink Physique mesh body.  She's currently using the TMP/Meshbody Classic mesh body.  TMP/Meshbody mesh bodies kick the competitions' asses because of the smoother lines and beautiful armpits, but the Slink Physique isn't bad.  Plus, Mary has hundreds of Slink shoes which she's not going to discard anytime soon.

What is an A-lister?

 Hi Natty!  Are you having lots of fun being Rock and Roll Queen?  I hope you are.  Please keep yourself healthy and safe.  Lately, I've been wondering what an "A-lister" is.  According to Google, An A-list celebrity is a professional at the very top of their career. ... It may be a bankable movie star who has a very strong track record of box office successes, or a pop star with a string of #1 hit singles and albums.  So if the box office is dead because of the coronavirus, would that same movie star still be an A-lister?  How about a pop star with 20 million views on YouTube but crappy sales on her last album?  I kind of thought that an A-lister would get invited to all the great parties and get in free at night clubs and restaurants.  Somebody who is very popular.  Here is a screen capture of trending searches on Yahoo:

Hm.  I can see how Kim Kardashian and Scarlett Johansson could be A-listers, but I don't know who Trevor Lawrence or Blaire Erskine is.  Those are just trending searches.  I suppose if people aren't looking them up, then they're not popular.  Or that Kim Kardashian and Scarlett Johansson are about as popular as home refinancing and yard signs.  Does that mean if you were to bring a yard sign to a nightclub, you can get in for free?  Sometimes the trending searches list has no people in it...

Who knows what popular is nowadays.  Most people are just "some guy on YouTube" lately.  It's those damned cell phones, I tell you!  Nobody is a celebrity anymore!  Cats rule the Internet!

Purity

 Hi Natty!  How are you today, my love?  I hope you are feeling great, and having a marvelous time.  I want you to know that I love you with all of my heart.  You are MY girl, and I will marry you inshaAllah.  So how's life in Hollywood?  Yeah I know you're in Venice Beach, but in reality you are in Hollywood.  Life is like a stage, so some people say.  It's despicable though nowadays how reality TV has permeated mass mentality, and how Hollywood (USA) cashes in on everyday misery since it can't come up with new ideas on its own anymore.  So nowadays we have telephoto, infrared and hidden cameras.  And drones, of course!  I know you like LA and I'm guessing that you've always wanted to stay there.  Have you thought of why you are there now?  Not because of social and work connections.  God put you there to test your purity.  It is your purity that Hollywood is interested in.  Don't be influenced by what people have to say about your purity.  Pure women are for pure men, and impure women are for impure men.  So please keep your nose clean and don't party.  If you need to make a personal appearance, make that appearance then leave to safety immediately.  Stop thinking in terms of career advancement.  You are already at the top of the mountain.  Crest of the wave, rather.

Ginger

 Hi Natty!  How are you?  I hope you are healthy and enjoying yourself.  It's Wednesday here, and it started out a bit wet but it soon got hot again.  I like it better when it's cold.  I bought a bunch of ginger yesterday, I thought I would experiment with it a little.  Ginger is costlier than I remember, so I planted some in a pot.  That will take a few months, but they are able to grow around here.  I wanted to make ginger chicken, so for the fond I chopped up a lot of ginger with some garlic, browned it up, then added the chicken.  I made it too salty though, but with white rice it balanced out.  I figure I don't even need it to balance out, just cut out some salt and everything would turn out on the sweet side.  Next time, perhaps.  You want to try some ginger chicken on rice?
