46. Say, "O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Knower of all that is hidden and open! It is You that will judge between Your servants in those matters about which they have differed."
47. Even if the wrongdoers had all that there is on earth, and as much more, would they offer it for ransom from the pain of the penalty on the Day of Judgement, but something will confront them from Allah which they could never have counted upon.
48. For the evils of their deeds will confront them, and they will be encircled by that which they used to mock at.

Hi Natty
How are you today? I hope everything is fine with you, and you having a fabulous time. Nothing much going on here with me, just the usual. I went downtown this morning to pick up my Dad's prescription. In the evening, I cut the grass by the roadside. Nothing special on the menu, either. Lunch was takeout, and dinner was takeout. I did take Mary Unknown7 to Second Life's 17th birthday celebration in the afternoon. It's crowded there, so I had her dress down to save data. It was still very slow moving, and she got fed up quickly. Well, it's wardrobe time again after this. I love you!

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.
39. Say, "O my people! Do whatever you can: I will do. But soon will you know."
40. Who it is to whom comes a penalty of ignominy, and on whom descends a penalty that abides.
41. Verily We have revealed the Book to you in Truth, for humankind. He then that receives guidance benefits his own soul. But he that strays injures his own soul. Nor are you set over them to dispose of their affairs.
42. It is Allah that takes the souls at death, and those that die not during their sleep. Those on whom God has passed the decree of death, God keeps back. But the rest God returns for a term appointed. Verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.
43. What! Do they take for intercessors others besides Allah? Say, "Even if they have no power whatever and no intelligence?"
44. Say, "To Allah belongs exclusively Intercession." To God belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. In the end, it is to God that you shall be brought back.

The best chili is Asian in flavor
Hi Natty! How's it going, my precious Princess? I guess you must be having a blast being loved by so many people, being the social butterfly Queen. Please don't let all those other people dirty up your beautiful clean face. You can't bear their burdens, you can't solve their problems. You can do what you can, but take care of yourself and don't let the stress and worries of others put darkness and wrinkles on your face. You are MY girl, please save yourself for me.
I am pleased to announce that my latest batch of chili is a great success! Alhamdulillah! It took over 2 days to cook it. The beans need to be slow cooked until they break and saturate, and I don't have the time to stand guard over a pot of beans. I have so much other crap to do! So I only cook the beans when I was inside the house doing stuff, and in range on the beans to deal with any potential mishap that might occur, stirring and adding water when necessary. This time around, I added bitter bean hot sauce and mixed curry that I bought from the corner restaurant. By the time the beans saturated, they already full of flavor! I knew that beans and curry matched but I never would have guessed that chili and tomato puree clashed. When the beans were ready, I put in the beef, onions and fresh hot peppers and that took only a half hour to cook in. Don't worry about the hot peppers, the heat dissolves into the beans. In the end, we have a chili that's more like mole in flavor and texture, even though I didn't put any chocolate or sugar in there. You must try some!

36. Is not Allah enough for God's servant? But they try to frighten you with others besides God! For such as Allah leaves to stray, there can be no guide.
37. And such as Allah does guide, there can be none to lead astray. Is not Allah Exalted in Power, Lord of Retribution?
38. If indeed you ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah." Say, "Do you see? The things that you invoke besides Allah, can they, if Allah wills some penalty for me, remove God's penalty? Or if God wills some grace for me, can they keep back God's grace?" Say, "Sufficient is Allah for me!" In God trust those who put their trust.

Fried rice
Hi Natty! How are you, my love? I hope you are healthy, and enjoying your place in life. You are MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart. Yes I'm running late today, I'm sorry. I had to do yard work, then I had a late start on dinner. Are you hungry? I made fried rice for dinner. Anybody can make fried rice, right? I like to think of fried rice as the art of utilizing leftovers. The rice has to be cold for starters, best left over in the fridge overnight. However my Mom gave me half a head of cauliflower, so I wanted to use that quickly before it got slimy. I usually add cauliflower/broccoli at the end, so it retains its crunch. But the half head I got was really big, so I had to add it in earlier to soften it up. First, you fry up some chopped garlic. Then I added some Siamese tom yum paste (basically a spicy tamarind sauce) and sliced chicken. You can flavor your fried rice with anything really, as long as the fried rice is light and refreshing in flavor: no heavy sauces or grease! I added the rice next, broke it up while stirring and adding light soy sauce. Then the cauliflower went in, chopped into its smallest possible florets. Mix it up, then I like to sprinkle anchovy bouillon for the main flavor. Not too much! Light and refreshing! When hot enough, make a crater in the middle of the rice and crack an egg in there. Season the egg with salt or soy sauce, let it harden a little, then stir it up again. Shut off the heat and add the last of the fresh vegetables, in my case chopped chives and hot peppers. It's ready! I served it in my favorite pink bowl, and sprinkled salted radish and dried fried onions on top as the final touch.

Tomato puree
Hi there Natty! How are you, my love? I hope you are healthy and having a fabulous time. I have another pot of beans slow cooking on my stove top right now. Yeah, I have to declare the last batch of chili I made a failure. I don't usually put tomato puree or paste in my chili, but last time I did and it gave me severe heartburn. It tasted so normal though, but after 4 hours the heartburn crept up. The strange thing is when I used that same tomato puree in spaghetti sauce, my stomach had no problem with it. So it made me wonder that, did all the chili I ate throughout my life give me heartburn because of the tomato paste? Do people in general get heartburn from eating chili because of the tomato paste? I can only speculate about that. What I do know is when I made chili without tomato paste, I didn't get heartburn. No matter how hot and spicy it was. This batch of chili is going to be experimental though, so we'll see how my tummy reacts. I'm putting local flavors in it, like bitter bean hot sauce and mixed curry that I bought from the corner restaurant.
