Sleeping under a blanket of superfluous legal paper

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling, my love?  Don't you worry about a thing my darling, I'm not going to abandon you inshaAllah.  You are MY girl, and I love you.  I absolutely intend to keep my promise to marry you, so please be patient and pray OK?  In the meanwhile, please try to have fun and enjoy what Allah has given you.

I admit it's a bit noisy out there in the crowd.  But you should try to see things from my perspective, especially if you were to be at my side.  To me, it's been the same old situation for decades already.  Nobody seems to grasp this: not my family, not the locals, nobody.  They all have to play it out the hard way, I guess.  Life isn't supposed to be easy, I guess.

This dress doesn't quite fit, but that's life.  It's also normal, isn't it?  To wear clothes that don't quite fit so you can look better?  Mary Unknown7 is just a normal girl at heart.  Surrender to Allah!

Just an average day

Hi there, my beautiful Natty!  How you doin', my gorgeous Sweetheart?  Are you excited?  Are you?  Well, I don't know what there is to be excited about.  It's all the same old day.  Oh how I  long to be with you, my love!  That would be a great day.  It's just another average day here for me.  Today is laundry day, for some reason I have less dirty clothes to wash.  I removed that dead branch that was sitting on the lawn.  It was way lighter than I thought.  Hollow.  It was huge though.  Lunch was simple: I had some sliced bread to use up, so I made a tofu omelet to go with it.  Yes, tofu omelet very healthy!  Dinner was takeout fried noodles.  I took my Dad to the barber, and picked up dinner as well.  I didn't have to cook!

In the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Merciful.

108.  Say, "What has come to me by inspiration is that your God is One God: will you therefore bow to God's Will?"

109.  But if they turn away say, "I have proclaimed the Message to you and in truth, but I know not whether that which you are promised is near or far."

110.  It is God Who knows what is open in speech and what you hide.

Power

Hi Natty!  How are you, my darling?  Are you having a wonderful time?  I hope you are.  It's Tuesday over here, and I was present at the mosque for the sunset prayer because today is the day I always go to hear "tok guru" talk about the Qur'an.  But the old master didn't come today, so I'm home early.  I already had my dinner.  It was more of the same from yesterday, my mother's curry is so good.  Cooking tip!  If you make curry and you have leftovers, freeze it immediately!  Curry doesn't keep unless it's frozen!

Mary Unknown7 is wearing green today.  It's a bit slutty I'll have to admit, but she's a rock star.  Mary dresses like a slut sometimes, but she's actually a nun.  A servant of God.  There's an old amra tree right next to my front gate that's definitely not green, because it's about to die.  It was fine earlier this year, but now it looks like it's about to fall.  It's sobering how fast things change.  It was windy today.  There was a big branch grazing the power line that I feared might snag it, but the wind snapped it off and away from the power line.  The branch looks big and heavy but when I went to inspect it, I could break a piece off with one hand.  This means that most of the old tree is probably hollow.  But at least that particular branch is out of the way, and it looks like the tree will fall away from the road and power lines safely onto my driveway inshaAllah.  Power is such an interesting concept.  So many people crave it, but all power belongs to Allah.  You never know how it manifests itself.  You could place a plug close to an outlet, and suddenly sparks begin to fly and the whole strip bursts into flames.

Chinese naan

Hi Natty!  How's it going today, my beautiful Sweetheart?  Are you making tons of money for yourself?  I hope so.  Please keep calm, and don't forget to pray.  Today was a busy day!  Not too much labor, thank God.  Just a little bit in the morning.  I spent most of the evening in the kitchen.  My Mom gave me some curry fixings, all I had to do was put it all together on the stove.  My mother makes the bestest curry.  I made some naan to go with it.  I had made dough a couple of days ago, now it's perfectly aged.  If you didn't already know, naan is India pita bread.  The photo below is a stock photo from Google, not the stuff I made.

Mary Unknown7 look kind of Chinese in today's snapshot.  Don't you agree?  I don't particularly like that dress on her, but it has sequins and it's purple.  The location is Green Story, and it has a lot of rain, hence the purple.  These exotic locations chew up massive amounts of data, and I need the data for YouTube and for Mary and I to go nightclubbing.  I'm going to have to get a better body for Mary's avatar, something with nicer hands, armpits, elbows, and knees.  The advantage of this classic avatar body is that it's so easy to layer clothes.  Fashion rules!
