Independence Day

Hi Natty honey!  How are you feeling today, my precious princess?  I hope everything is going easy for you, and that you are having a grand old time.  Don't forget to pray!  Today is Malaysia's independence day.  August 31, 1957 to be sure.  No, I didn't go see the parade.  One would have to wake up and be out of the house very early for that, and I'm not a big fan of parades.  I would never be one to have a parade in my honor, or whatever.  Today is Friday, so I went for the Friday prayer.  That's about it.  I cut the grass in the evening.  Lunch was pretty good, I had some chicken liver to use up, so I fried up some eggplant and onions in "sambal tumis" (blended onions, chillies, and "belacan" (fermented shrimp) fried in oil until saturated), then added the chicken liver which I had marinated in turmeric and salt.  I can't stomach overcooked liver- it has to be done perfectly.  Since liver is strong tasting, one chicken liver is the perfect blend for the eggplant mix to be eaten with a couple of tortillas.  By the way, I'm not budgeted for pizza right now to coincide with your trip to Milan.  So you're going to have to fly the pizza flag for both of us.  Please make sure you go to a restaurant in Milan and eat pizza, OK?

For those of you who are Janis Joplin aficionados, note that Janis never sang a song the same way every time.  Maybe she didn't want to bore herself, or maybe she was too messed up.

My look for today is Latina.  I didn't plan it that way, that's just how it happened.  Kind of like my lunch.

We look like movie stars!

Hi Natty honey!  Yeah, that's the photo, of you in front of the "open" sign, where you look kind of like Axl Rose.  Except that you are beautiful, of course.  So is Milan going to be your next stop?  That's awesome.  I had given someone else the chance to take Milan, but that didn't work out.  So I guess it's become your area now, Natty.  Why is Milan so connected to us?  One word: pizza!  Yes... when you are in Milan, make sure you go to a restaurant and eat pizza.  Take a snapshot of yourself eating pizza in Milan, then post it.  And have your bosses dress you up like a movie star.

I look like a movie star!

Simplicity

Hi Natty honey!  How are you today, you beautiful young woman?  I hope you are having a great time, and tons of fun.  Don't forget to pray!  You know something, about that photo of yours in Elle with the headband, you kind of look like Axl Rose.  But beautiful, of course.  It's the headband, Honey.  So Paramount, huh?  Don't make a hustle to be in the movies, Natty.  Let it happen smoothly and naturally.  Be a model first, show the world how beautiful you are.  And you are very beautiful.  Relax, and have some fun with your success.  You are successful, Natty.  If you sometimes think to yourself "Is this it?", the answer is "Yes, it is".  This "it" is what most other people desire, and become envious of you because you have "it".  "It" will not get better, because life isn't perfect.  At least you don't have to put up with "it" and be flat broke.  So please be grateful to God for your success at such a young age.  Why don't you try the theater first?  Where you can dance and make friends, before you wring your heart in the movie business?  Let them come to you.

I watched "The Hot Chick" the other day.  One can get so much information by watching the credits.  This movie was produced in part by Rob Schneider, and Adam Sandler too.  It obviously is a vehicle for Rob Schneider, and I did laugh a couple of times.  But what I got from the movie is that this movie is a vehicle for Rob Schneider to flash his dick to a bunch of starlets, and the young girls would smile and nod and gesture on how awesome his dick is.  He does this a few times in the movie.  The moral is: try to be in movies you are happy with and proud of.  OK?

For dinner today, I has steamed rice with steak and my mother's bamboo shoot sweet pickle.  I love hot steamed rice fresh out of the pot, with lots of light soy sauce poured on it, and spooning that into my mouth.  Back in the day, I was so broke that all I had to eat was rice and soy sauce.  But it tasted so good, and it still tastes so awesome today.  Simple pleasures.  Alhamdulillah.

The Lone Wolf

Aw you beautiful creature, I would love to share your tub with you.  What would 2 people do in a tub together?  We would have to get married first.  At least you have a nice clean tub, with running hot and cold water, and probably plenty of suds too.  Don't you feel bad Sweetheart, everything will work out just fine for us inshaAllah.

There are lots of bicyclists that come around here, whether alone or with their group, all dressed in their tight bike short regalia.  The land is quite flat, and quite suitable for fast cycling.  If you like to ride your bicycle, you would quite enjoy pedaling through the villages and looking at the sights.  I would not be able to bike with you because my feet are permanently damaged- I am blessed to be able to walk at all.  But I can ride alongside you on the motorcycle, and when you get tired of exercise, I can tow you home or to the nearest ice cream or McDonald's.  Doesn't that sound romantic?

Right now, I'm producing the sequel to "Woo Hoo" and working on the guitar tracks for the first song.  At the same time, I have to read the Sailor Moon manga again.  I do sing "May" during voice training, but not often because I wrote the song wrong- the key is either too high or too low, and I can't sing it low while on Second Life because my avatar is female ("Don't ruin the illusion"- Marlene Dietrich).  Some of the high stuff is out of my range but I sing it anyway, but only in the first half hour and only a couple of them, not back to back, so as not to become exhausted so early in the set.  Singing well is NOT easy!

Full moon

Hi there Natty honey!  Congratulations again on your success with the cancer charity.  It is a great achievement for you, and I am so very proud of you.  And yes, you are right: fuck cancer.

I'm afraid today's letter is quite short, I have so much to do.  I'm going to the mosque after this to pray with the congregation in the night prayer, when I get back I have to scroll through the Sailor Moon manga (which is huge) while playing guitar.  I've been watching a lot of movies lately.  Let's see...Almost Famous, American History X, Avengers- Age of Ultron, Mamma Mia Here We Go Again, Reign of Fire, The Hot Chick, to name a few.  Work my darling, work.  Oh, we have to talk about "The Hot Chick" sometime.  But not right now.  I have to go.  Don't you feel a little antsy when it's the full moon?  I admit I feel a little agitated.  Anyway, please take good care of your precious self.  Be cautious of evil men pretending to be gallant.  And don't forget to pray.

Does this dress make me look fat?
