The alarm clock

It's about time I do a featurette on Otto, one of my 7 kitties.  He's a boy, and very affectionate and forward.  I think he's going to be big and strong like his father.  He's a very vocal kitty, always meow this and meow that.  He fancies himself an alarm clock, and tasks himself to waking me up early in the morning.  I have to get up anyway to do extra worship so I set my alarm to 4 am, plus now God has given me more work.  So lately Otto has been waking me up at 1:30 am, but last night he cut me a break and began his howling and scratching at 2:30 am.  Hm.  My alarm went off today but didn't make a sound.

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling today, my beautiful sweetheart?  That's one hell of a crazy carousel huh!  You're probably feeling intellectual about it.  Try to think about the machinery rather than the people.  That way you will know what to expect when the carousel takes a different form.  Like when we are married inshaAllah.  I went to the big supermarket downtown and got tomatoes and potatoes.  On the way back, there were quite a few people at the burger stall where I bought dinner.  Hm.  Perhaps it's unwise to get too familiar.  I will try a different burger stall next time.  I love you, Natty!  Please keep safe and healthy OK!

Hi Natty!  What's going on today, Mrs. Global?  You like being a walking endorsement, huh!  At least you aren't being forced to wait in a crowd at the night market for half an hour for a lousy couple of bucks worth of snacks.  Not my food, either.  Well, have tons of fun being you.  Keep safe and healthy.

Adolf DID get cut yesterday, I didn't see it until 11 pm.   That gave the wound plenty of time to fester and grow a ball of pus.  The cut is on his lower lip.  Don't worry folks, I already cleaned it up and disinfected it.  Popping the bubble made a big stinky mess, though.  Phew!  What's up with the dirty chins lately.  Adolf is in a better mood today, alhamdulillah.

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope you are having a great time being you.  You're MY girl, and I love you with all of my heart. Please keep safe and healthy in your adventures OK!  Say, that Siamese fish sauce makes a great substitute for salt, especially if the food has a lot of water in it.  I used it in my spaghetti dinner just now, and it was awesome!  Want some?

In cat news, someone tricked Adolf into spraining his neck, probably a more experienced or talented catfighter.   He even came and taunted Adolf while he was in the house.  I don't see any cuts on Adolf but he complained when I tried to lift his head, and he can't even scuffle for snacks.  Looks like you're getting the day off tomorrow, buddy.  I noticed Anna had a very dirty chin while I was preparing dinner, so I cleaned it up with an alcohol swab and she didn't like it one bit.  What does a dirty chin on a cat mean, you may ask?  Well, I think it means dirty money.  What do you think, Anna?  Well whatever, I cleaned it up for you.  Oh no, someone puked out raw liver!  I don't know who it was but it was over 5 hours after I fed them which means it was almost digested, and it's only one cat out of 7.  Probably the culprit ate a bug or gecko, then the whole mess came out.  I suppose I have to boil the liver and gizzards next time.

Balenciaga has a great couture collection, I was surprised!  Not the usual repurposed trash bags I have come to expect.  Dare I say that the collection actually looks... elegant?
