Hi Natty!  What's up?  I hope you are feeling great and having a splendid day.  I'm sure you got that sports car revving, and back in the race.  Hm.  Every house I see you in is spotless.  I need a housekeeper.  Please keep safe and healthy in your escapades.  It's been a busy day for me, and it started at 3 am.  But I just had a big dinner, and am looking forward to just relaxing.

I found an old video of a young Annie Lennox in a fluffy pink dress, and I realized why I had any interest in fashion to begin with: a pretty girl in a pretty dress.  So I guess it's time for me to get started on reviewing Fall 2023 Couture.  I get my data from Vogue, so obviously one would have to get past Anna Wintour in order to be a contestant.  I count 26 designers for Fall 2023 Couture which I list at the bottom of this page but in the Spring 2023 Ready-to-wear Competition, there were 368 designers when I started but at the final round, some names were missing.  What's up with that, Anna?  So if at the final round your name is gone from Vogue, I will track your collection down regardless providing you maintain an Internet presence.  The top rule for couture is that you can't be boring!  But you can't be an eyesore either.  Be beautiful, that's what I like.  And as usual, if I didn't review your work then it means I don't like your work.

I had to start over with my fried noodles routine.  **Grumble**.  I guess I'm bored with it.  I bought a bottle of fish sauce to try.  It tastes like liquid salted fish.  The fried noodles I made for dinner were OK, I guess.  I had to start over with my Qur'an routine too.  God is having me do more work.

Movie night

 

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  How's business today?  Pretty serious, I bet.  I'm sure you are having tons of fun regardless.  Please keep safe and healthy in all your negotiations.  I had a complex broth for my ramen today.  I went to the Tuesday market in the morning, and common mackerel was on sale.  It wasn't the freshest fish but the eyes were still bright, so I bought half a kilo for 2 bucks.  I gave a fish each to the cats after gutting and rinsing them.  Lookie didn't know what to do with her fish.  You eat it, Lookie!   What a spoiled brat cat.  That left me with 6 fish for my broth.  I had to add all sorts of stuff to it, but the worst part was straining it then picking out the meat.  Those tiny fish bones stick to everything, especially the fingers.  It was a good bowl of ramen, but I'm not doing that again.

Anyway, it's movie night!  Please watch a movie with me, my darling.  "The Grand Budapest Hotel" (2014).  I loved it.  Ridiculous, but beautiful.

The night market

 

Hi Natty!  How's it going today, Honey?  I hope you are having a marvelous beginning to your week.  Oh wait a minute, we don't have weekends, right?  It's all the same day.  Well, keep safe and healthy no matter what day it is OK!  I love you!  I needed fried chicken to dip into my ranch dressing, so I went to the night market to get some.  It was about 5:30 pm in the photo above.  I caught a moment where there weren't many pedestrians, but usually people on foot mingle with heavy trucks at this particular night market.  How was the fried chicken?  The funny thing about fried chicken is that it doesn't matter if you got it at KFC or a roadside stall, it still tastes like fried chicken.  It was great with ranch dressing though!

I love this outfit that Mary wore today.  Very Rock Star-ish!  Awesome hairdo!  We crashed out about 45 minutes into the set and when we logged back in, the right shoe was gone.  It just didn't rez.  One of those fashion mishaps, I suppose.  Mary's outfit is:

Hi Natty!  How's it going today, Honey?  Is the machine running nice and smoothly?  I hope you are keeping safe and healthy in your adventures.  Keep your mind active throughout your life, my love.  Don't just think about people.  Think about art, science and mathematics.  Straighten that arm!  Ha ha, what do I know about yoga.  I'm blessed to be able to walk.  I cut the grass this evening!  I didn't get much done: the blade snapped quickly today, and I don't labor past the snapping of the blade.  But it gave me plenty of time to cook and eat dinner.  Oh nothing special, just pan-fried beef, eggplant and ginger with some fat fry bread.  Simplicity!  Filling!  Want some?

5.  The similitude of those who were charged with the Mosaic Law but who subsequently failed is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes.  Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah.  And Allah guides not people who do wrong.

6.  Say, "O you who stand on Judaism!  If you think that you are friends to Allah to the exclusion of humans, then express your desire for death, if you are truthful!"

7.  But never will they express their desire for death because of what their hands have sent on before them!  And Allah knows well those who do wrong!

8.  Say, "The death from which you flee will truly overtake you, then will you be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open, and God will tell you the things that you did!"

9.  O you who believe!  When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday, hasten earnestly to remembrance of Allah, and leave off business.  That is best for you, if you only knew.

10.  And when the prayer is finished, then may you disperse through the land and seek of the bounty of Allah, and celebrate the praises of Allah often, that you may prosper.

11.  But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave you standing.  Say, "That from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain!  And Allah is the Best to provide."

Just an average day

 

Hi Natty!  How are you feeling today?  I'm sure you are very busy, so please eat sufficiently and get plenty of rest.  Please keep safe and healthy.  It's just an average day here for me.  I had to go downtown to buy potatoes.  I just can't deal with small potatoes anymore.  I'm also out of pasta, but I don't like angel hair even though it's quick to cook.  They're always out of the cheaper spaghetti (which tastes the same as the more expensive spaghetti) but I got blessed, and found a pack which fell to the side of the shelf.

An average day here means I follow cat agenda.  Adolf has taken charge of the gang now that he rules the yard, and Lookie seems to respect that even though she doesn't like it.  He's become quite the handsome fellow, don't you think?  That's him in the director's chair.  He caught himself a big fat gecko, then refused kibble for dinner.  I guess I would refuse dinner too if I ate a big fat gecko.  Gunhilde is experiencing her first heat right now and Adolf tries to mount her, so I have to separate the boys from the girls.  I help give the guy back his sanity, and he wants to pork his daughter.  Beasts!  Don't be like these cats folks, they're beasts!
