Hi Natty!  How are you today? How's the weather?  I hope you're having tons of fun over there, and keeping safe and healthy.  It's supposed to be the hot season right now, but there were a lot of clouds in the evening and the wind is blowing strong.  Still dry, though.  I managed to get my bills paid in the morning, then had lunch downtown.  I had a bit of a hip problem from sitting wrong, but a little self-massage and walking therapy seemed to fix the problem alhamdulillah.  I think Anna Wintour isn't feeling well right now.  Get well soon, Anna!

I don't know how much longer Mary will be able to perform at Fireside Karaoke, folks.  But until that day comes, it's business as usual.  Mary's outfit is:

I think I have time before spring arrives to review SPRING 2023 COUTURE.  It's a good thing then that few designers have the nerve to do couture.  Now listen up, contestants!  The rules for couture are different than ready-to-wear!  It's OK for ready-to-wear to be boring, but couture cannot be boring!  But you can't be an eyesore, either!  Here are my picks from the Alexandre Vauthier SPRING 2023 COUTURE collection:

Cat chaos

 

Hi Natty!  Oh you made that jump, right?  Good for you!  I wouldn't have made that jump.  Bad feet.  Big and long, my toes would have snagged for sure.  Are those camo jammies?  Looks comfy!  

I'm doing OK over here.  It's been a cat chaotic day.  Cat breakfast is about 4 am everyday, and today everyone was present.  Then when I woke up later at 9, Adolf was missing.  He must have opened up a hole in my barricade and squeezed out.  Sure enough, he was outside waiting for me on the porch.  I brought him back inside, he smelled like motor oil again.  He must have gone around beating up the neighborhood cats, and later I noticed when I went to the mosque that there weren't any cats around my yard or the street.  Adolf didn't have a scratch on him, though.  Lookie hates it when Adolf smells of a fight.  The kittens were playing as usual, then Mama cat gave a sudden growl and they scattered to hide under the washer.  Adolf is the victorious cat, now he's in a lovin' mood.  Lookie wasn't having any of that, so he turned to his children.  He's a beast folks, that's his excuse.  What's yours?  Adolf spent the whole morning mounting his kittens, boy or girl, didn't matter.  They learned to hide under the washer, but the ordeal didn't seem to bother them.  After a few minutes of hiding, they came out without a care in the world then their father would mount them again.  Jane is his first kitten, and she's a beautiful cat.  She figured out how to deter her father's sexual advances by quickly twisting around and sticking a claw up his nostril.  The kittens are still learning this and in a sick ironic way, only their father could teach them how to resist their father.  How could I tolerate all this decadence under my roof, you folks may ask.  You think I should take Adolf to the vet and get his pee pee chopped off?  I only have 20 bucks in my wallet!  He'll calm down eventually, probably already has.

Hi Natty!  How are you, Honey?  I hope you are feeling great and having a marvelous time.  Please keep safe and healthy.  I'm doing OK over here, just missing you as usual.  Isn't that a nice Mexican pop song above?  It seems different to me, perhaps I listened to Mariachi only back in those days.

I recently discovered by accident that lentils can be used to thicken noodles.  Today I planned for it, and blended lentils, onions, garlic and carrots to be used as a fond.  It definitely worked.  My fried noodles had the effect of a spaghetti with an extra thick sauce, except the flavor is Eastern/Middle Eastern.  I used to dislike lentils, but now it's going to become a kitchen staple for me.

Hi Natty!  Oh, lots of pretty pictures to look at!  Yes, I like that second shot too.  You are beautiful, my love.  How are you today?  I hope everything is going smoothly for you, and you are safe and healthy.  I didn't get much sleep last night.  I must have been excited about something.  And I had that song in my head...  Yeah, yeah, yeah...

Check out the video above.  The Italian guy met his wife in Phuket while she was studying and he was on holiday.  Then she returned to Japan, and he decided to go there too and be with her.  He didn't have any money, and he didn't know a word of Japanese.  He survived because of his wife, and now he makes Italian style ramen.  I don't know abut Italian style ramen, though.  I would rather have spaghetti, and my ramen be ramen.  You know what I mean?
