Ugh!

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope you are feeling great while keeping yourself safe and healthy.  I'm doing OK over here.  I broke my coffee cup yesterday, so I have a replacement that's cat proof.  What you see above is twice the size of the cup that broke.  So I put in twice the amount of coffee.  I needed it today, I was wiped out from during labor in the morning.

Ugh!  I made a mistake!  Golden pear is not the same as Asian pear, though they look nearly the same!  The thing I bought has the texture of mashed potatoes, and I don't like the flavor either.  That goes to show how little fruit I consume.  I guess I'm not as fruity as I thought.  I can't eat it raw, so what do I do with it?  Perhaps I can use it to thicken my ramen broth...

Golden pear

 

Hi Natty!  How are, Honey?  How's life in Lesbianland?  I hope you are having lots of fun over there.  Not too much fun, now.  You're MY girl.  Please keep yourself safe and healthy OK!  I broke my coffee cup today.  7 cats.  With 7 cats, there's no such thing as an available hand.  It's bad enough when you get old, you will need at least 3 hands to do any one thing.  What does it mean?  Maybe it means that coffee doesn't work anymore.  Dammit!  I think I have a plastic coffee cup somewhere.  And I might need to use 2 spoons of coffee, not one.

I went downtown in the morning to pay bills, and I picked up some fruit while I was there.  Golden pears!  Not like Bartlett pears that can be soft and sweet, Golden aka Asian pears have a firm texture like apples but with more water content.  Every Golden pear I have ever eaten in my life has had that refreshing sweetness: the taste doesn't vary from sour to bitter or whatever.  A consistent fruit.  You should try one, Natty.  Golden pears are typically Chinese, so try buying some at your nearest Asian market.

The peeing machine

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, my love?  Just relax and take it easy, there's no other place to be but where you are already.  Right?  I had to cut the grass this evening.  The labor sucks as it is, but then there's no time left to cook and eat.  I recently devised a quick fix from when I had to visit Adolf at the cat ward all last week.  I cook up a pot of rice after Mary gets done with her set, and I chuck in some chunks of roast beef in there.  Let it cook all the way before I head out to the mosque and other chores, then let it sit there until sunset when I eat it right out of the pot while getting ready for the night tasks.  Today I added some veggies.  It works great.  It's certainly not the lap of luxury, but I don't have time to prep luxury even if I had the bucks for it.

The kittens all look like their father, huh?  That's a nice snapshot of their chilling in their dad's favorite bed.  Adolf has become a peeing machine now that he's regained full control of his pee pee.  He does have some level of civility and spends most of his pee in the cat boxes, thank God.  But there was some trash in my motorcycle basket with a picture of a cat, and he peed on that.
