Pickles

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope you are feeling great, keeping safe, and enjoying yourself.  It's pretty casual here for me today.  It was a nice cool morning, but for some reason I didn't sleep in that much.  Only until 8:30!  I had ramen for lunch, so the first I did when I woke up was to make the broth so that it could simmer for a couple of hours while I did something else.  I love ramen!  The broth was perfect today.

I didn't intend on making pickles, but when I bought some veggies for my stir fry on Monday, the guy threw 4 cucumbers in for free.  I love pickles, but I don't make them very often because they don't usually cross my mind.  The video above likes to add all sorts of stuff, typical of any YouTube cooking video.  YouTube cooks like to add all sorts of stuff to their food, I guess they think it makes them stand out?  All I use for pickles is salt water.  The intensity of the salt is important of course, so I add salt to taste.  When it's strong enough, then I pour it over the cucumbers (or cabbage sometimes) in a jar, without using any fire whatsoever.  It takes about 2 weeks in the cooler for my pickles to be ready, and about a 5 day window to eat them before they turn into sludge.  So I try not to make too much.  But when the pickles are in their prime, it would be so easy to guzzle them all down.

I used the Slink Physique body for Mary's avatar's wardrobe today.  I usually use the Meshbody Classic.  The hands on the Slink aren't as graceful, while the Slink body isn't as smooth and curvy, plus there's a slight seam at the neck.  But I have thousands more clothes and shoes for the Slink Physique over the Meshbody Classic:

Hi Natty!  How are you, my most precious beloved?  You are the most beautiful girl in the world to me, and I love you with all of my heart.  You are the only girl I want to marry, you are the love of my life.  Don't you worry about a thing Honey, I will take sweet loving care of you inshaAllah.  Are you hungry?  I had to finish off a can of sardines.  I hope you like sardines.  It's not caviar, but it can still be good.  Today I learned that sardines & toast is better than sardines & rice.  It's something about the flavor of toasted bread that gives it the edge.   Also that sardines & eggs is better without the bread.  Learn something new everyday!

That's an old T-shirt you can see above.  It's clean, but it smells like an old rag.  A clean old rag.  What do I do with it?  Should I use it as an old rag?  Should I boil it, to get try to get rid of the old smell?  Or should I just wear it anyway, regardless of how it smells?  Decisions, decisions.

Hi Natty!  Exciting, huh!  I told you I had to crank it up a notch.  I kind of wish it hadn't come to this, but that's the world for you.  Please be safe and healthy.  You must be aroused, so try to stay calm.  Don't worry Honey, everything will work out fine for us inshaAllah.  I'll let you know inshaAllah when the road is about to get bumpy, so try to stay alert.

It's a busy day here for me.  I guess it didn't help that I woke up at 9 am, that's because I woke up a 3 am to read the Qur'an then work on the guitar parts for Shadowplay's next album, "Rise of the Horizon Creature" or "The Search for the Beast".  I went back to sleep after the dawn prayer.  Yes, it's been cranking all day and there were long lines everywhere I went except the pharmacy, but they put the boxes close to the ceiling so I had to wait for them to reach it.  I got a haircut and had lunch downtown.  Hey, my hair looks pretty good today.  Usually it's kind of scruffy.  Then I had a lot of food to process in the evening, plus my mother had lots of chores for me to do.  I just got done with my evening shower, and now I have to head to the mosque for the sunset prayer.  Whew!

Hi Natty!  How are you , Honey?  Having fun doing lots of shopping and spending?  Oh, how I envy you!  I wanna go on a spending spree.  Wouldn't that be marvelous?  I just finished dinner.  It was a huge tofu and cheese omelet.  I made it real quick too, because I wasted a lot of time this evening.  Eggs are my weak area, but I'm getting really nifty with omelets.  What's tough for me are sunny side up eggs.  I love sunny side up eggs, but I guess I'm not much of a sunny side up person.  What a bummer!

I guess people want to know why I don't review menswear.  It's because of... EW!  I DON'T WANNA LOOK AT A BUNCH OF GROSS GUYS!  EW! EW! EEEEEWWWWW!!!!  Maybe if they had pretty girls wear the menswear, I might review it.  Maybe.  Better yet, have my Natty model the menswear.  Then I would be forced to review it.  If I knew about it, that is.  Anyway, your Friendly Neighborhood Fashion Reviewer is taking a break today.  Vogue knows why.

Ah, the bliss of sardines

 

Hi Natty!  How are you today, Honey?  I hope you are feeling great, and enjoying yourself.  I wish we were together and doing all sorts of fun things, wouldn't that be grand?  You're so pretty, and you're MY girl.  I love you with all of my heart.  Are you hungry, Honey?  I seem to have a lot of food right now.  Not caviar and truffles, but still good food.  I had trouble finishing a comb of bananas.  It came off one of the plants outside my front door, I thought I would give it a try since my mother loves that stuff.  So I made banana fritters and it worked, but there were too many bananas, thus too many banana fritters.  I had to throw a lot of them away.  I'm not doing that again, I'll just give the bananas away.  Do you like banana fritters, Natty?  They're very sweet.  Let's see, what else is in the cooler...  I got some fish head curry the other day, and they gave me some extra gravy on the side.  A lot of it actually, so I stuck it in the freezer.  I thought I would use it for pasta today.  Since it was just gravy, I wanted to add some fish meat to it so I opened up a can of sardines.  It was convenient that Lookie and Adolf wandered into the cage outside, so I shut the door while I processed the sardines.  I put some aside for the kitties.  It turned out that I didn't need the sardines, because there was a chunk of fish meat hiding in the gravy, so my angel hair curry came out a bit too thick.  But Lookie and Adolf loved their sardine snack.  Lookie was growling so loudly as she ate her sardine.

Mary's gown looked better without ALM.  The dress would glitter when she moved, and that effect didn't work with ALM.  It must have been made for the older avatars:
