As you can see folks, the swelling has gone down and she's using both eyes. But we still have a way to go before she's fully recovered. Please pray with me. Ya Allah, please heal my kitten.

Hi Natty
Natty, you're so beautiful. I love you. I'm sorry you have the need to escape at all. I'm sorry everything is so serious. But you have to be serious if you want to be taken seriously, I hope you understand. Perhaps you have noticed, but I never joke around with the lyrics when I sing. Because it's very damned serious, people don't want to hear their beloved songs become messed up. Don't you worry my gorgeous Sweetheart, everything is going to turn out just fine for us InshaAllah. Me? I don't want to escape. I want to work. What I don't want is manual labor. My feet hurt.
As you can see folks, the swelling has gone down and she's using both eyes. But we still have a way to go before she's fully recovered. Please pray with me. Ya Allah, please heal my kitten.

My love for a jealous bully
Hi there, my beautiful Ladies! How are you today? I hope you are feeling good, and having an easy time. I had a bit of a cat crisis today. In a fit of jealous rage, Floofy gave little Yoolie a punch on the left eye. Yoolie was just trying to be friendly, she's always going up to the older cats and trying to say hello with a kiss. But with the other two it's a kiss-kiss-hiss, which makes me wonder why they bother to kiss at all. Then Floofy gave poor little Yoolie a punch on the left eye. It swelled up, but the swelling has gone down and she's using both eyes, so I think she's going to be OK inshaAllah. Since this morning's brouhaha, Floofy has been acting all guilty and trying to schmooze up to me and stuff, and she didn't give a single hiss at Yoolie. Well, maybe one. I love my kitty. I will always love her, even though she's a jealous bully.

Hello
How are you today, my precious Ladies? I hope all is going well for you, and that you are feeling good. I'm about ready to rest, and there's not much to report. What was lunch? I don't remember, I recall eating something but what I don't know, and dinner wasn't exciting. Oh yeah, I had chicken wings and fries! That was good. I love chicken wings. Floofy is still refusing her food. She stopped eating when the new cat came into the house, so I doubt it's a physical ailment. Plus she's fat, so I'm not worried about weight loss yet. What is jealousy, anyway? Is it selfishness? It's been a long time since I felt jealous about anything. No, forget I said that... that's not true maybe... Maybe Floofy wants me to give the kitten her portion of food. Even so, I'm not going to overfeed little Yoolie. She's so small. I love kittens. Anyway, you have a great day. I love you.

The all-white cat is the cat of death
Hi Erin! How are you, Honey? Is life going smoothly for you? I hope it is, and that you are feeling absolutely great. It's been a strange day for me, but I got through it OK alhamdulillah. I drove my Dad to the hospital, I did some errands, I bought a Slurpee, I killed a black snake by my Mom's back door. Yeah, a black snake with a marking on the back of its head is called a cobra.
Oh, and I got a new kitten. People sometimes dump their unwanted kittens in my yard (few of them survive), but this one put such an effort into crying and pleading by my bedroom window that I decided to bring it in. It's a female all-white cat. It seemed healthy enough, there were a few fleas but I got rid of them so my main concern is how Floofy and Lookie would react to her. Lookie was comparatively casual, with just a couple of hisses but mostly pacing briskly around the house. Floofy is the one who threw a tantrum, and refused her dinner because she was too busy crouching and hissing and looking over her shoulder. This cat got jealous of her own kittens, folks. The crouching and hissing is now down to just a staring match, so hopefully things are calming down and we can all get along. I couldn't think of a name for this kitten, so in the end it was my computer who came up with her name: Yoolie.
