Ice cream

Hi Erin!  How's it going, my love?  I'm sure you are busy studying all those sports entities.  I am proud of you, my Sports Princess.  Of course, I love you.  I will always love you.  But I can't sing that song.  That note is beyond my reach, Whitney does it best.

Yes Natty, it's almost the full moon.  And you are looking lovely.  You look great from every angle.  But it is the night BEFORE the full moon that's crazy.  André told me this, and I think he's right.  The actual full moon is quite calm.

I don't eat this particular flavor of ice cream.  I bought it for my Mom, it's her birthday tomorrow.  Both my parents love this flavor ice cream.  Happy Birthday, Mom!

Wow

Natty, you're so gorgeous.  What a beautiful neck you have.  You're going to turn me into a vampire!  😰  I could kiss that neck all night long.  Let's have dinner instead, shall we?  I made fried noodles.  The ingredients are palm oil, garlic, "sambal tumis" (onions, chillies, belacan (fermented shrimp paste blended then fried until saturated), soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, egg, prawn cake (egg, flour, water, salt and shrimp mixed and fried until crispy/chewy), pulled beef and green onions.  Want some?
Oops!  I need to stir it.  Tastes great as leftovers, straight out of the fridge.

Hello

Hello there, my beloved Ladies!  How are you feeling today?  I hope you are keeping your cool and having a wonderful time being you.  Please don't squabble!  Today is Friday, and I had to attend the Friday prayer.  In the morning, I had to pick up my Dad's prescription.  During the commute, I noticed that there still were not any carts selling food on the roadside.  The couple of carts that I did see had next to nothing on their carts.  Bah!  I didn't feel like cooking lunch.  But it's a good thing I know how to cook, so I had a couple of chicken and cheese burritos.  Voice training was troublesome.  Usually the cats sleep the entire 2 hours through, but today Floofy kept on trying to pick a fight with Luka.  And they scuffle among my cords, which in turn yank equipment off my tables.  I had enough of that, and put one cat out.  Then my equipment started to short out, so I had to repatch things and sing at the same time.  Phew!  😥  I had to pick fruit in the evening, but I had plenty of time to cook dinner.  I still had the bones and head of the fish I ate yesterday, so I slow fried it in coconut milk and salt.  You might wonder why I'm cooking fish bones, but there is still plenty of flesh mixed in those bones.  If I had tofu, I would have stuffed it in there.  And the fish head... I love fish heads!  Especially the meat between the eyes.  Eat the lot with a pot of rice, and I'm full.  I would offer you some, but I ate it all.

I 💚 raw fish

Hi there, my precious Ladies!  These are exciting times, huh?  Not only do I love you so, but you should keep up with the entertainment section of the news, aside your regular work duties.  I assure you, it's high fashion!  I had to drive my Dad to the hospital this morning.  Just a regular blood test.  On the way back, we stopped by the fish and produce shop.  He bought some squid, and he also got me a fish.  A regular hardtail scad, not that big.  The guy at the store looked at me with a blank expression and told me that no one has much stock.  Everyone is sold out.  Yeah I tried to buy rice from a woman at the roadside before that, and she was sold out too.  This was early in the morning.  What's interesting is that the holidays are over, and it's off-season.

Anyway, I filleted my fish then marinated the fillet in salt and vinegar.  I was too lazy to make rice balls or sushi rolls, plus scad needs to eaten quickly or the flavor gets too strong.  So I cooked up a pot of plain rice, then sliced the fillet into sashimi portions.  I waited for the rice to cool down, then enjoyed the each slice of fish with a heaping spoonful of rice and a drizzle of soy sauce.  Same thing as sushi, but without the labor.  Want some?  My teeth didn't quite agree with the vinegar, so next time I won't use any.  Or could it be all the chocolate I've been eating lately?
